I live in Las Vegas with my husband of 13 years. I have three furkids, 2 cats (Spider is pure black and Sinatra is orange tabby striped) and one teensy Boston Terrier, Zoie. I work with children as a school psychologist. My next big vacation will be to the Yukon to view the Aurora Borealis. I also dream of visiting Japan someday.

I love the smells of lavender and vanilla, the colors pink and black (alone or together), hearts, reading chick lit, coffee, good wine and food, San Francisco, Niagara Falls, traveling, paisley, sock monkeys, martinis, lava lamps, VW Bugs, and clever, witty people! Additionally, I love all things related to relaxation. I am a big fan of bakery scents/flavors, such as cinnamon roll, cookie dough and cake batter. I like tiny polymer clay figurines, garden gnomes, hummingbirds, smiley faces and moose (the cute, happy ones!). I love things that are personalized with my name and/or initial(s). Sparkly and glittery things are great, too! I have discovered that I am embarassingly interested in the lives of others via photographs :) I am obsessed with organization and all things related to it. Some of my friends claim that I am a minimalist, but I just like to keep things simple. I treasure all things handmade. I collect clever socks with cats on them--they are definitely my signature fashion accessory. I wear them daily!

I am NOT a crafter/scrapbooker/knitter/crocheter at all--due to lack of talent and patience. :) However, I LOVE to receive ANY handmade items. (Update: after a bit of swapping, I am getting a yen to start collaging again--I did it in college). I love stickers and paper products (postcards, notecards, envelopes, swap cards, etc.).

I LOVE most any movie with Edward Norton, Mark Wahlberg, John Cusack, Kevin Spacey, Nicolas Cage, Sean Penn or Andy Garcia. I will watch any Drew Barrymore movie!

Some favorites include Lost In Translation, Eyes Wide Shut, Broken Flowers, Garden State, Boogie Nights, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Crash, Mulholland Drive, Sideways and Sweet November. My all-time fave is Vanilla Sky.

I love Kermit the Frog and Curious George. I grew up with their movies and books! I was also a Judy Blume addict.

My taste in music is fairly mainstream--Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas, Everclear, New Radicals, Live, The Killers, American Hi-Fi, Boston, REO Speedwagon, and Journey to name a few. I like Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Merchant and 10,000 Maniacs. I am a big fan of the music from the musicals Avenue Q, Rent and Grease.

I enjoy shows like Anthony Bourdain, Samantha Brown, The Girls Next Door, Deadliest Catch, Dirty Jobs and Airline. I typically watch A&E or The Travel Channel, but recently discovered BBC's "How Clean Is Your House?" and "You Are What You Eat," both must-sees!

I love attending Monster Truck shows (cringe) and hair bands of the 1980's. I am also a huge fan of the Las Vegas cult classic movie, Showgirls. :)
