I would love to set up private trades!!! I am not a crafty person by nature, but I love to try new things. I've seen swaps for so many interesting crafts and hobby items that I would LOVE to receive examples of: Dotees, zines, altered items, inchies, chunky pages, whimsey jars or any other craft that is traded here on Swap Bot. I've been wanting to try these but would like to get a few first for inspiration and guidance.

I am a divorced mother of 2 beautiful children, daughter 12 and son 10. We love spending time together doing anything outdoors. I enjoy traveling, which has led to my favorite hobbie- deltiology.

I have recently developed a love of journaling. I am a notebook/journal junkie!!! I have been for years. I own boxes upon boxes filled with the most beautiful, unique, weird, artsy, antique, and just plain gorgeous journals ever. I would never write in them for fear of messing them up. Since beginning my art journal journey I now have a passion for "messing up" the pages with embellishments, paint, paper, found objects, and of course lots of writing!! I have several writing journals going along with art/junque journals. Oh, I'm having a BLAST!!!

I am a huge fan of Neo-Soul music. I listen to lots of Jazz, classical, socca/reggae and country rock. I can enjoy really any kind of music except for heavy metal. I just can't get pass the screeching, piercing sounds of the guitar.

I LOVE to read, however I haven't had the time lately to do as much as I'd like. Some of my favorite authors currently are Dan Brown, Christine Feenhan, Sidney Sheldon, James Patterson, Stephenie Meyer, John Grisham, Jodi Picoult, Zane, Niki Turner, and Nicholas Sparks. I have come to love the work of Jane Austen!!! There are so many more I enjoy. I try to keep up with the Oprah book club so I am exposed to different genres and read books that I may not consider on my own.

Any recommendations?

My favorites (right now) are Kaj Stenvall, Moomin, Anne Taintor, people in native costumes, historical buildings/places, UNESCO WHS, city views with the name on the front, and maps. I DO have all 50 USA state maps.

For USA cards I am looking for single image pc's with the state bird or flower and also pc's of the state flag.

I've started a new collection of Chinatown cards from various cities around the world. So if you have a Chinatown in your area get a pc and let's swap!
