I'm a 30-something mother of 3 (hyper) active girls (this means I'm "working" at home 24/7) from Finland. Happily married. As a hobby I'm studying for my third diploma (social and healthcare this time; I allready have travel&tourism and economics).
I enjoy photographing and crafts. I would love to have time for reading (mainly fantasy like Tolkien, Terry Preatchett, Harry Potter etc) and writing (short stories). I have a few people to whom I write letters (loose sheets of stationery are also welcome).
I also wish I'd have the time and money to travel around the world - but as I don't I do Postcrossing, Swap-bot and ToyVoyagering instead! My favorite postcards are those with a lovely/interesting view of your city/country. I also prefer my cards sent written and stamped (also called "naked"). Please do write as much as possible on the card :)
I'm a Leo and that shows... Also the way that I like cats. I used to have 3 but my first born turned out allergic. So I try to enjoy cats in other ways, like stickers and cats of my friends or reletives.
My very favorite color is red, The Real Red, NOT pink ;) And I drink way too much PepsiMax :D
Darren Hayes for example :) I don't much listen to music though, I'm more a visual person.
Lord of the Rings! Those action ones with Bruce Willis. Ocean's Eleven (the one with George Clooney and pals). Many with Jim Carrey :) Lilo&Stitch =)
Babylon 5 was one of the best ever! NCIS, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars... I don't have much time to watch tv :( Dvd's are my thing ;)
I LOVE making postcards, scrapbooking... and woodwork if I had the time and stuff. I "collect" stuff I can use in my paper crafts - all sorts of little wooden figures/shapes, stickers, different kinds of (heavy) paper... Any sort of alphabet is always welcome (sticker, wooden, papercut). And ATC-blanks! I'm a newbie in ATC's but it's fun :)
Sometimes I do small thingies from modelling clay (Cernit) to be used in my crafts or as gifts (like fridge magnets).
Lately I have discovered some secrets of knitting and am practising... I rarely sew but I admire some of the quilting works some people do... I'd also love to be skillfull enough to make those amigurumi (spelling?) creatures!
I don't cook. My husband does that :)
I've always, and I do mean always, wanted to visit Australia. They have the prettiest landscapes... And koalas, kangaroos and wombats :)
I have always, and I do mean again always, wanted to visit New Zealand as well. They too have the most amazing landscapes. And a town called Katikati - which is my name twice! Naturally I'd also love to see the spots where LOTR was filmed.
I've even made an itinerary with the actual prices and stuff - it should be put up-to-date though...
I would also love to visit Japan. The language is one of my favorites! Unfortunately I haven't been able to study it for real (there are courses in japanese language but rarely when I have the time or money). The culture interests me as well :)
I would also like to
learn italian and visit Rome & Venice
learn more french and visit Paris
go to Hollywood (without the singing ;) you've all seen Idols haven't you...)
go to Iceland
go to Hong Kong
go to... ah well, you got the point...
NEW: I've started collectiong the world atlas in country shaped/map fridge magnets. One magnet per country (or in some cases continent). I already have Finland, Germany, Denmark, Holland, France, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, Bali and am getting soon Romania, Bulgaria, Azores, Malaysia and Vietnam :)
Please tell me if you do not receive the stuff I send you (I'll check my missing ratings too, to find out has my mail arrived). Especially with those email swaps which I send early - if you do not receive I blame the technology AND WILL resend untill you receive. The other swaps I also send in time so if you don't receive, just tell me and we'll work it out. My swaps are always international so the mail may travel a longer while. But I always, always send.
To get into the WLS (Whole Lotta Swappa) group! Mission accomplished 11 September 2007! :D

Happy Early Birthday!
Hi, Maybe we'll cross addresses on postcrossing someday, or we could just send a postcard to one another just for fun! susi
Thanks semfox :) I'll try to remember that :D
Coasters...that is what they are called! I have lots of use for them, thanks! x
