I'm 49 years young, I have a terrific boyfriend, and am mom to an awesome 23 year old daughter. We also are owned by two four-legged household members - 1 dog and 1 cat.

Since my last update I am now a member of sparkpeople.com and on my way to a healthier new me. I have also found out that I am highly allergic to tomatoes and rhubarb and watermelon - please don't send any items that may cause this allergy to rear its ugly head. I have already had one very bad reaction.

My hobbies are reading, collecting things on cows and covered bridges. My newest interest is moose I have seen one in person and well I think seeing one in person when your driving is more than enough for everyone, but I am thinking perhaps I would like to collect things on moose as well. I love to travel and my favorite spots are Lancaster PA - we use to go all the time. I'm lucky to get there once a year now if that. I also love Disney World.

Some other places that I love to visit is a village called Shelburne and one called Annapolis Royal in Nova Scotia Canada.

Other hobbies are genealogy, living history, old cemeteries, playing at pogo.com, swimming, spending time with family and friends and baking. I love to dance to the oldies - the twist is my favorite. I also enjoy country line dancing - you can find me out on the dance floor kicking up my heels.

I also enjoy reading and learning about new things and unraveling a mystery or two.

I love chocolate - white or dark, cashews, almonds, mint, trying new foods, I love teas and would love to try some different ones so send me something new to try.

In my home I love to burn scented wax and really enjoy the holiday scents of the wax, but I love pretty much any scent depending on the season.

I'm a work in progress - learning what I like. Out of a marriage, where I was told what I did like and what I didn't like.

I am also a former grange member and have been active both on the Subordinate and Pomona level as well as a Junior Grange Leader for our local grange Pioneer #1. I am also a former 4H Leader. I love to volunteer and have been a volunteer in a living history village portraying life in 1836, as well as a museum volunteer where I volunteer as Volunteer Chair, and a member of various committees. I also volunteer in the archives and am currently working on several projects there.

I am being trained in a new job and think I will love it, its people-orientated and I'll be working for the "clown that makes kids happy" full-time.

I don't like to be FLAKED on and I don't like people who participate in my swaps to be flaked on. I will be starting a list of people who have flaked on me personally and my swaps. Lets face it, its not fair to me or people who send out their swaps.

I'm not pushy about deadlines for myself and I prefer if you contact me and let me know your going to be late, I deal with that just fine. No communication really bugs me though.

I love all kinds of music but it really depends on my mood. I love the Christian music of Michael W. Smith, Curtis Chapman, Caedmon's Call and Third Day to name a few.

I also love country music and have seen Charlie Daniels in concert. My #1 fave is Reba. I also love Tim McGraw, Lee Greenwood, Tracy Byrd - Keeper of the Stars.

BonJovi - he's a Jersey boy and I'm a Jersey gal.

Other music loves are Donny Osmond and yes I have met him in person - we were in the same elevator one time. I love the Osmond Brothers and have seen the family in concert several times. The Beachboys, Beatles, love the oldies of the 50s and 60s and yes some of the 70s as well.

I love musicals as well.

Music to me depends on my mood.

Did I mention I also love Il Divo who would have thought, but I just love them and can listen to them all day long if given the opportunity.

Theres a song on the radio every once in awhile its called HOLLYWOOD and if its not, it should be - I love that song.

Has anyone heard the song JOHN PATCH, its folksy but its another song that I adore, they play it on the radio here.

My favorite writers are Nora Roberts I simply loved the Garden series that she did. I also enjoy John Saul, Barbara Michael and Mary Higgins Clark and Jonathan Kellerman books.

While You Were Sleeping has got to be my most favorite movie. I can watch it over and over again and not get tired of it. I also love the Wedding Singer with Adam Sandler, Wizard of OZ, The Lake House, Grease, Dirty Dancing, and all Disney movies.

There are several new movies out that I want to see. Oh and I have seen several of the Bourne movies each time thinking I wouldn't like them, but they really surprised me, or I surprised me when I found out I did like them.

I love to watch oldies such as the Golden Girls, Petticoat Junction, Cosby show. Current shows that I love to watch are What Not to Wear, 2 and a half men, the early news when I am home in the morning, Larry King

I love to do rubber stamping. I love to make my own holiday cards and learn new stamping techniques. I also like to do scrap booking when I have the time.

I am also now making cards without using stamps as well is this called paper craft, I don't know but I was turned on to it the other night and I love it.

Also love making bookmarks and am hooked on ATCs
