I am a married adult mother of three children living in the midwest of America. I am a registered nurse and college graduate. I was raised on a farm and prefer residing in rural areas, but I also love to travel to big cities to explore a faster-paced way of life.

I am involved in many types of art forms, from fabric art to charcoal, pastels. oils, watercolor. My most recent love is altered art.

I enjoy friends, family, gardening, birds, flowers, etc. The outdoors, particularly the wilderness is most enjoyable. I like spending time on long walks enjoying the art of nature.

Quilting, embroidery, embellishments, crochet, knitting are some of the types of fabric arts which I enjoy.

I also enjoy music, theater, movies and reading. Mystery, romance, comedy, the classics are enjoyable. Music is very open - from classical instrumental to 60-70's rock and country, ballads, etc.

Likes: Vacationing with my husband [hope to go to Ireland some day soon] and exploring new places. I enjoy quiet times with a cup of tea, getting "back to nature" ans such. I have three wonderful cats who share our lives. Anything home-made is wonderful because I can appreciate the effort going into it. Snowflakes and sledding in the winter, hearing the snow crunch under our feet is wonderful. Starry nights outside listening to the sounds of crickets and enjoying the stars and a campfire are wonderful. Chocolates, good wines, good friends and family [and some good bourbon] make my life complete.
