I do technical support for a local software company, and am learning to actually program for myself.

I'm a fair hand with Illustrator and Photoshop, but my crafty skills haven't seen much use recently, until my wife started doing embroidery again and finding the most fun and interesting patterns!

Then she showed me this site. I'm doomed!

Comment: Your pirate and ninja are really awesome! You even made the backs look good. I am curious about the fabric background - how did you do that? It's such a thin layer. Anyway, great job! I especially like the shading on the pirate.
Response: I ran the fabric through a Xyron. Actually, I did that for the figures as well. EDIT: My wife corrected me. The figures went through a Xyron, but I used fusible web for the fabric. I had to sandwich the cards between some hardcover books to flatten the backs out aftewards...
