Canadian/Acadian living on the East Coast of Canada, within a tri-community area I like to call planet Monkton (sic). I work full-time for a courier company mainly doing internal communications (to put it simple) and part-time in a music store (my fun job!). If I'm not working a minimum of 6 days a week, I ain't happy.
I live with 2 cats, both silly-Siamese, who don't work, or even bother to look for work and don't really contribute to the household income.
I graduate from l'Univeristé de Moncton with a Bachelors in Arts & English. I speak 2.5 languages, that being English, French and a French-Acadian dialect.

U2, Beatles, Radiohead, Tom Waits, Belle & Sebastian, Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Joseph Arthur, P.J. Harvey, Tragically Hip, Nick Cave, Velvet Underground, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, Sun Ra, Pharoah Sanders, Beck, REM, the Cure, the Stars, Bjork, Tori Amos, les Paiens, Jean Leloup, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot, Nick Drake, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, the Police, Beastie Boys
Kurt Vonnegut, Tolkkien, Christopher Moore, J.K. Rowling, Bukowski, Dawkins, Canadian lit. I'm into science-geek stuff too, like linguistics, evolution, genetics & Kurzweil futurism.

(I'd rather be reading.) But when I do watch tv, it's the Simpsons, the Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart, the Discovery channel (a science-based channel in Canada) and the news.

(I'd rather be watching a live music act) I get so turned-off on movies these days, I mostly watch live music acts on DVD at home. But those movies that I do enjoy; Star Wars (ALL of them, I still want to be a Jedi when I grow-up), Lord of the Rings, Reservoir Dogs, 2001 A Space Odessy, Woody Allen flix, U2 Rattle & Hum, the Last Waltz.
I stumbled upon this site after coming-up with the idea of creating a CD swap-group on Facebook. But Facebook is only really good for playing chess, not swapping. I like what everyone has done with this place here. I'm in this for music swapping, CD format. I do not favor MP3's. Every mix CD I put together comes from my personal collection of about 1000 cd's.
