Hello, My name is Emilie. I am currently doing my masters in French in Boston, but I grew up in Maryland and have spent some time in Wisconsin and Louisiana, so I have a strong affinity for those states. I love hearing about where people live, what is unique to that place, etc. In college I was a double major in French and Philosophy and I loved it! Grad school is not as fun. I love writing letters and sending things in the mail. I enjoy doing crafty things. I love animals, especially horses and dogs. My family in WI has 3 mules currently.

Thanks for the envelopes! I love them. Thanks for the letter too! I don't know that many other people who are big fans of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell... odd, because it's in every library! It's actually the book that got me to start reading Jane Austen after I read an interview with the author where she said that Emma was her favorite book! From the same interview, I also ended up reading An Instance of the Fingerpost by Iain Pears-- I recommend it if you haven't read it already! Thanks again-- I love getting letters.
Thank you so much for the nice note cards you sent for the WTA #23.......
Welcome to Creative Correspondence! I live just outside Boston in Belmont :)
