ALL swaps have been sent to my partners!! Now I am just waiting for everyone to receive/rate the swaps.

The two "3" ratings were sent late during a very chaotic time in my life. The "1" rating is also from the same period of time. My F-I-L, who is 85, is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. He lives with us and I am half of his care-giver team. Earlier in the year we had a major setback with some health issues and swapping had to take a back seat for a little while.

It's unfortunate that the recipients were not understanding and rated as they did. LIFE HAPPENS, what can you do?

If you are reviewing my profile as part of the approval process for swaps I have joined I hope that you will look at the overall success of my history (hearts and 5's) and not focus on the three unfortunate smudges.

I am a 2nd generation born and raised Las Vegas native (nativegan - NOT a vegan :o) ) w/ 2 boys. They are Ryan (age 11) and Jakob (age 13). I'm hoping that my boys and I will get photos and postcards from around the world.

I live in Arizona now and I don't miss the traffic at all!! :o) We enjoy spending time out on the lake enjoying the landscape and water.

I work with my hubs at our Residential Design firm that he started more than 20 years ago. It is my passion and very much a part of our family.

I love to receive photos/postcards of cool OLD architecture. I also like vintage photos of Las Vegas which are hard to come by!! I also enjoy the following:

I'm VERY addicted to Zentangles. I enjoy the 3.5" square tiles the most but ATC sizes are nice to practice on.

I also do a little bead work once in a while, mostly simple things like book thongs and rosaries. Some day I hope to learn bead weaving and Victorian beading. The works of art created with such detail are amazing.

I love lime greens, blues, and purples, especially in a combination.

I love red but can't wear the color red at all.

Bright orange (NOT NEON) can be lots of fun for crafting.

I don't really have a least favorite color.
