I am a 2nd generation born and raised Las Vegas native w/ 2 boys (also nativegans). They are Ryan (age 9) and Jakob (age 11) and are competitive swimmers.

We now live in Lake Havasu City, AZ, which right now is the equivalent to the surface of the Sun. Winters are awesome, tho!!

I inherited my Grandmother's artistic bones, I'm convinced of that, even though she sewed quilts by hand for years and I can barely sew on a button. :~) Rest in Peace, Grandma - (June 28, 1917 - September 14, 2009)

We recently adopted an 18 month old Sun Conure Parrot named Sunnie Bird. I've never owned a bird so I'm open to any suggestions (HELP) you may have. :~)

We've moved our office into the home and I hate it.

I love many different types of music - i.e. Sinatra, U2, Sting and the Police, Benny Goodman, Taylor Swift, George Straight, opera, classical, jazz...you get the idea.

I do not like heavy metal/thrasher rock. I find it extremely annoying and obnoxious.

I am Catholic but do not attend regularly. I like different types of crosses.

I am Irish and German so I have a special place in my heart for items from Germany and Ireland.

I have 6 tattoos and I don't regret getting any of them.

Yes, I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. No, I am not a member of the Mob. No, I never worked in a casino, either...however...I did work for an interior designer of casinos, tho. Bellagio was my biggest project. :~)

My boys are my proudest accomplishment.

I'm a residential designer so I enjoy many different styles of architecture.

I enjoy puzzles of all kinds when I have the time to do them.

I don't do scrapbooking, I'm just not that creative. I admit it looks easy but I'm just too anal retentive for it...I'd be measuring everything until it was perfect!! Have you ever seen Monk??

However, I have recently found out that the 12x12 loose scrapbook sheets are perfect for making envelopes!! I love paper products.

Legos - odd, I know, but it was Legos that first set my heart into Architecture. I was 6 or 7 years old building houseboats. :~)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE classic cars!! At one time we had 3 and we put them all in a local car show. I would take a nicely restored classic car (a 1955 Chevy Truck if truth be told) over just about any brand new car. I have a thing for Mini Coopers, too, and would take one in a second!!

I love polar bears, penguins, frogs, dogs and cats. My kids love all animals.

Jakob is 11 years old going on 30. He loves cars, loves science, loves to read.

His favorite sports are NHL Hockey (Detroit Redwings) and NFL Football (AZ Cardinals).

His favorite colors are red, blue and green.

He has a very eclectic taste in music like me. His current favorite is Apocalyptica, which is...interesting... :~)

His favorite animal is our Lab, Mylah, even tho she destroyed his glasses. He also likes cats, lions, gorillas and polar bears.

Ryan is 9 years old going on 30. He loves music, art and basketball. He loves to read but he'll NEVER admit it!!

His favorite animal is the GIRAFFE. He also likes polar bears, walruses, and penguins, elephants and lions, cats and dogs, snakes (some) and lizards. He is dying to get a Guinea Pig but the Grown-Ups (not me!!) say no.
