i'm 25 years old. currently, i work at a university by day and grad school it up by night. i love to write, read, cook, travel, sew and crafts in general. i really enjoy growing things (yay organics!), learning about sustainability and working for peace and social justice.

in general, i like: retro, black and white photographs, bold/dark colors, old postcards and photographs, found art, foreign language texts, vintage-inspired fabric, unique buttons (pinback kind and the kind you sew onto stuff), jewelry (all kinds - i have pierced ears, and love necklaces), seeds, journals, anything buddhist, liberal political stuff, LOVE zines, screen-printed stuff, pandas and polar bears, mike and ike candy and sour gummy candies, hot chocolate, asian-themed anything (i'm Korean) - but not anything with the word "Oriental" (racial slur, big no no), bento stuff, etc...

i'm not crazy about religious stuff (except for buddhist stuff), winnie the pooh, girlie stuff, Disney, tea, and Walmart.

aimee mann, ben folds, beatles, white stripes, weezer, taxi (thai band), a perfect circle, tool, sparkle horse,something corporate, death cab for cutie, my chemical romance, badly drawn boy, glen hansard and marketa irglova, imogen heap, regina spektor...

i heart huckabees, 28 days later, hero, the overture, adaptation, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, bent, the life aquatic, shaun of the dead(LOVE zombie movies), slither, crash, brokeback mountain, v for vendetta, little miss sunshine, the prestige, mozart and the whale, hot fuzz, once, sweeney todd...

oryx and crake (m. atwood), world war z (m. brooks), monster island (d. wellington), battle royale (k. takami), snowflower and the secret fan (l. see), saving fish from drowning (a. tan), bel canto (a. patchett), it blows you hollow (d. seuss), the women were leaving the men (a. mozina), stiff: the secret lives of human cadavers (m. roach), anything by saul williams, anything by harryette mullens, anything by beatrix potter, etc...

i'd love to receive used copies of the books listed here because im always passing them on to other people :)
