I'm 28, have three beloved cats and a boston terrier, am pagan, collect virtually everything I can get my hands on, read lots, am a big geek...
I'm getting into swapping again after a long hiatus while I got settled into a new city with a new job. Swap-Bot has changed since then!
I do have a '1' rating on my profile from two years ago. If you are concerned, please message me. I refuse to write a big long explanation in public defending myself.
I am seeking excess FBs, slams, decos, etc.! Just getting back into the swing of things, as I said, and I have very little to none of these items anymore!
Rock. Celtic. Alternative. Pop. New Age. Whatever. :)
I read a lot (or did, before the knitting bug hit me... been reading much less now) and prefer books that aren't SAD. I don't really like to cry. I read a lot of romance (with plots, thankyouverymuch), supernatural, fantasy, dark fantasy, nonfiction, thrillers... I just don't like sad. Though I end up reading quite a few sad things anyway. I read a wide variety of stuff, really.
I dislike TV, in general, but will watch netflixed shows - NCIS, CSI, Lie to Me... or something on A&E or the History Channel.
Knitting, sewing, quilting, random crafting, baking & cooking, scrapping, soapmaking, needlework, gardening, penpalling, swapping.
I hate coffee. Love the scent, hate hate HATE the taste. Espresso. Eww. Coffee. Eww. I don't like bath gel. I don't like neon colors or baby pastels, though I make exceptions for soft purples, blues, and greens. I don't like angels. I don't care for anything with bible verses or a similarly religious slant to it. I'm not a Christian is all! :) I don't like earl gray tea, or plain green tea. I don't care for Disney stuff or American cartoons, superheroes, etc.
I love tea (except earl gray or plain green). I love Asian things, and kawaii things. I love pagan things. :) I collect postcards (especially new in an envelope), stamps, coins, stationery, and notepaper. I love colorful envelopes. I love manga, yaoi, yarn, socks, japanese snacks, savory treats, chocolate (foreign especially, not too dark), recipes, ephemera, maps, earthy colors, reds, purples, blues, greens, chickens, dragons, faeries, leafy plants, tarot, candles, bars of soap, and tiny treasures.
Postcards: I usually prefer single-view postcards (rather than multiple view ones) that are standard 4x6 size, or sometimes, 5x7. I don't like postcards that say things like: "Wish you were here!" and "Missing you in Florida!" or anything. I collect waterfalls, ocean scenes, beaches, rivers, wild animals, lighthouses, churches & mosques, castles, mountains & other scenic, city skylines, day or night, state/country maps, weather, flowers, naval ships, art cards, fairies (such as amy brown fairy postcards and similar), and any unique landmarks, events, etc.!
Some things I'd love to receive:
CONTACT ME if you do not receive a swap I was supposed to send you, please! While rare, things can and do get lost or delayed in the mail, and I'd like the chance to make things up to you if that happens! Please, communication is the most important thing in swapping!
Feel free to message me about any concerns you have - whether you're the one shipping to me, or you're the one being shipped to.
