I love good mail, and I always have! I was in the Army, but that was years ago. Now I'm living the high life in Reno (get it? High life? Sierra? oh well...), working as a Clinical Data Coordinator. I have three cats, three dogs, a love of tarot, divination, and witchy things. I like to read, I'm a magazine-aholic, and I drink lots of chamomile tea (no wonder I'm so calm!).

I love Mary Engelbreit, French Kitty, Chococat, Maneki Neko and scotties. For scents, vanilla, spice, and citrus-smelling items are my favorites. I'm into magick. I love tarot cards and other types of divination. I love cats. And postcards. And reading. And bowling! And BPAL!!! I love cosmetic and perfume samples. I'm rediscovering fairies. I would love guided meditation CDs (okay if burned copies!). I love magazines: girlie, home, different (Utne, Mental Floss, B*tch, Bust), mystery (Ellery Queen, Alfred Hitchcock), and British mags. Starbucks cards are always appreciated! I guess you could say I'm a girly girl...love pink.

Favorite colors are the combo of pink and black together, red and black together, pink and brown together. I don't wear silver jewelry, but love gold and copper. I like autumn colors, but my office is decorated kind of pinky.

Being an ex-California girl and a Scorpio, I have a love of water. I am almost always in the bathtub or taking a shower. My favorite bath/lotion stuff is Blackberry Vanilla (their "sensual" scent), Warm Vanilla Sugar and Moonlight (Moonlit?) Path by Bath & Body Works, Pear Glace by Victoria's Secret, and Origins Ginger scented stuff.

I love Yankee candles, but not many of the floral scented ones. Some favorites include, but not limited to, Clean Cotton, Sage & Citrus, Lemon Lavender, French Vanilla, Home Sweet Home, and Spiced Pumpkin. I also like the White Barn Candle Company scents as well, especially the Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream!

I HATE GLITTER. Seriously...glitter and I don't get along. Glitter is the litter of the art world...it gets on everything, you can never get rid of it, and it lingers until the end of time.

Wanna do a one-on-one trade for a tarot reading? I will give you a tarot reading, in exchange for a bubble envelope of good cosmetic samples and/or gift with purchases (by good, I mean real samples, and not those things you find in magazines!). Clinique is my favorite, and you'll score big with me on that one! I will do a comprehensive reading for Clinique! Dislikes

Socks. I don't know what it is about swaps, but everyone seems to send socks. PLEASE NO MORE SOCKS. I only wear white ones. Yes. I know. I am an old lady. But I loves my plain white socks!

GLITTER. I think I mentioned that already, but it's always worth mentioning again! ;-)

Stray tea bags Please, if it's not new in package, do not send me assorted tea bags. I don't care to receive tea bags that may have been in 20 swaps before it got to me.

Purses/Wallets: I'm very picky about purses and wallets. And I don't change purses. Once I find one I like, I use it until the handle breaks!

Photo albums and frames Oh ye gads...I have absolutely no use for photo albums or frames. Somehow, though, they manage to show up in swap after swap after swap...please, no more! I can't stand it anymore! ;-)

Because of severe dietary restrictions, please no food or beverages of any kind (including candy, tea, etc.). Of note: I do not have pierced ears, however I do wear clip-ons. And craft items would be best left with you, as I am craftmatically challenged.

Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, Chronicles of Narnia. I dig old movies, and watch a lot of them on TCM. Some of my favorites include the Thin Man series, almost anything with Cary Grant, Joan Crawford, Audrey Hepburn, Kim Novak or Doris Day.

The Office, LOST, Men in Trees, Girlfriends (yeah, I know), Medium, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Dresden Files (tragically cancelled), The Closer, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Desperate Housewives, Psych, Monk, Top Chef (one of my top favorites!), Burn Notice (sigh...Jeffrey Donovan!!!), Damages, Hell's Kitchen, Life, Reaper, Samantha Who? and The Apprentice (is that enough for ya?).

I'm not a crafty person, but I do love knit things (wanna send me a knitted scarf? I'll take it! It gets cold here in Reno!). Translation: don't send me anything crafty. I can't even work a glue stick correctly...there is no way in God's green earth I will be able to do anything with any art-type supply sent to me!

I love reading fiction that was written by women. Some of my favorite authors include Janet Evanovich, Elizabeth Berg, Sandra Dallas and Sophie Kinsella. Favorite books include P.S. I Love You, Good Grief, Twenty Questions, The Persian Pickle Club, and Lovely Bones. I also like the anthology groupings like Irish Girls About Town, Scottish Girls About Town, and the like. I also used to read mystery books, but I don't anymore. However, I do like mystery anthologies, you know, books with short stories by mystery authors.

• Hello Kitty long-sleeved T-shirt, size Medium. Bought two with same design...by mistake. Forgot the exact design, turned out it both were exactly the same.

I recently moved into a new place (well, new to me!). Where my old style was very kitschy, vintage, I am not sure it will work in my new place. The walls are painted a nice, restful brown color. The curtains in the main room are light blue, so in that room I will go for the "brown, blue, turquoise" look, I think. My bedroom has touches of red all over, which I think really warms the room up. I love vintage items...but might have to pare down some of the kitsch.

This place reminds me of a beach get-away cottage. So while I don't want to decorate with shells, etc, I do want to keep that beach cottagey feel it has.

I have a REAL garden for the first time in my life! I plan to decorate it with garden gnomes, and would welcome any that were sent to me. Would love anything else for the garden (if sending seeds, please make sure they are for this planting year!). Gardening books, seeds, planters...it's all good!
