I'm a woman who likes creating things, particularly with printed cotton fabrics. Anything from sewing clothes for myself, to piecing quilt tops to making cloth dolls. My main focus right now is creating two-dimensional OOAK ornamental cloth dolls with a felt backing.

I enjoy a wide variety of music and have an extensive CD collection to back that up. Everything from classical, opera, jazz, folk, greek, tango, fado, big band, easy-listening, 50s and 60s rock and roll, and on and on..........

Oldies - early 60s and earlier. Black and white. Film noir. Old musicals (Fred and Ginger).

My husband got me hooked on Coronation Street - we watch that together every night. Television today doesn't have much to offer me, so I buy boxed sets of old TV series like Perry Mason and enjoy those.

Anything that involves sewing.

I also love to garden and to cook (low fat vegan). I love, love, love to browse in fabric stores. I collect vintage sewing patterns and leftover cotton scraps from anyone who wishes to part with them.

As for what I would like to receive from other swappers, I would say make for me whatever strikes your fancy. I am not going to specify colour or any other preferences. I will appreciate the effort you put into your creation.

If you want to throw in a little something extra, I would be happy to receive little fabric swatches, preferably 100% cotton with a nice (not cutsy) design. All my art work is done on a small scale, so a small swatch about 6" X 6" would suit me fine.
