About Me

*****About the 3 stars I have *** It was an electronic swap, I posted it one day after the deadline only, I messaged her many time to ask why she gave me a 3 and she never answered, and I also messaged the admins of this website to know what can I do to not be penalized, so please please dont kick me out of swaps because of it *****

Hello ! My name is Adrianne, I am a french canadian young lady. I studied in tourism and love planning itineraries and buy travel books. I also love documentaries on animals, wildlife, nature, religions, geography, cooking, etc. =)

I consider myself a very generous person but I don't have that much inspiration for crafty things, even though I love to receive anything artsy or crafty, so if my first letters aren't great I promise I will learn and send better things, I just need some practice and ideas!! =)

... more

I am not a fan of tea, but hot chocolate is the absolute best. (I can for sure send you some tea if you like it though!!)

I am particularly interested in anything middle-eastern/Arabic related, but I am also interested in any other cultures and languages.

I love coloring. I would love to receive coloring pages or pages colored by you! What would be amazing is a coloring page half done and I could color the rest with my own style!

I love stories. If you want to practice writing stories or answer some prompts I'd love to read it.

I would like to receive washi-tapes samples, hot chocolate, stamps, words in new langages (I speak french and english), newspaper articles of something you feel strongly about or that is important from where you live, pictures of your animals or landscapes close to you, kawaii things, bracelets, charms, socks, bookmarks, etc..

It may sound childish but I love mermaids and pirates and fantastical things!

Sadly I cannot draw or paint, but I would LOVE to receive some artsy things if you don't mind not receiving that in return! (I adore watercolors)

For colors, I have a preference for pale/pastel colors, or intense red. I am not a big fan of bright flashy colors and of pink (I like pale pinks though).

I am not sure what I don't want to receive since I will be happy with anything, but I don't wear earrings and don't like tea/coffee much.

I don't mind naked postcards or in an envelope, it's up to you!

22 y/o lady who has a 5 y/o mind and heart.

I hope everyone reading this is having a great day !

Comment: Thank you for some lovely washi that I didn’t have! I am so surprised at how small the envelope is! The minimum envelope size for the US postal system is 3 in x 5 in. I’m surprised it didn’t “get lost” in the system!!

Book Quote - August

“Over time, Xan had started making certain preparations - a blanket woven of the softest lamb’s wool to wrap the child and keep it warm, a stack of cloths to freshen a wet bottom, a bottle or two of goat’s milk to fill an empty tummy. When the goat’s milk ran out (as it invariably did - the trek was long, and milk is heavy), Xan did what any sensible witch would do: once it was dark enough to see the stars, she reached up one hand and gathered starlight in her fingers, like the silken threads of spider’s webs, and fed it to the child. Starlight, as every witch knows, is marvelous food for a growing infant. Starlight collection takes a certain knack and talent (magic, for starters), but children eat it with gusto. They grow fat and sated and shining.”
