UPDATE 3 April, 2008: I´m back at home from the hospital. I´m late with some swaps, hope you understand my situation. If I owe you a swap, pls, remind me as my life has really been a mess lately and I´m at strong medicine so it might be that I´ve forgotten some swaps. Also, if you have sent me something and haven´t gotten a notice that I´ve received it, pls, send me a PM. I got some lovely swaps during my stay at hospital and they really brightened my day. I´m 44 yrs old bookcrosser from Finland. I´m at a very long sick leave so I´ve had time to make cards and other crafts, too. This year has been very difficult with the pains, especially the last half of the year. It means that sometimes I can be a little late with shippings. The pains rule my life so that there are days I can´t even go outside, only take a taxi to hospital. But still, I´m a very glad person and find always a reason for joy :)

I love music, reading, learning new things, love animals (I´m owned by an amazing cat, Jimmy), nature and sea. I love to take and watch photos and my dream (one of them) is that one day I could buy a proper camera and go out to the world and just take photos...

When thinking about crafting materials I think there´ll be use for everything one day but to mention my favs at the moment: yarns, beads, papers, napkins, rubber stamps, pictures from magazines and magazines with pictures, fabrics with pictures, actually anything with colors or pictures :) I´m very easy to please! Oh, and everything that is related to sea, lighthouses, books, dia de los muertos, unicorns and faeries will bring a big smile to my face!

My sewing machine is broken and due my health problems sewing is actually forbidden for me :( So everything sewn is appreciated! For example, totes and purses; there´s never too many of them! And I can´t have too many socks either, I love beautiful, funky, odd, well, all kinda socks! My size is medium, 39 / 7,0 (US) / 6,0 (UK). And I also love to use scarfs, light ones and in wintertimes ,you can guess, warmer ones!

And how could I forgot chocolate, I love it, ecxept dark chocolate! And I like to other candies, too (I have candy days :)). As a choc lover a like hot chocolate, too. I also love tea and tea drinks. I drink coffee, too. And I´m always curious to try new flavors, actually, it´s one of my hobbies. And recipes for cookies, cakes, cupcakes etc are always very welcome. I´ve seen pics of so delicious cupcakes at flickr, pls send me some ;)

Oh my, this is like a letter to Santa Claus but I remember every now and then something and put it here. And I´m just so excited about this swapping. You will find my What-I-Need-Right-Now -list at the end of this "story of me" :)

I´m allergic to wool, strong scents, tomatoes, walnuts, hazelnuts, kiwi and for some other things which I´ll mention when needed. And for some reason I like the taste of coconut ONLY in Piña Colada.

I love most the color of lavender and and dusty rose. And almost as much I love purple, pink, light green, skyblue, turquoise and orange. I love colors around me. Black and white are wonderful colors, too, but they must not be the only ones. And then, you must have gold and silver, too, right :)

Brown and grey are the colors I don´t like so much but they can be used with other colors, of course. Think about the combination of pink and brown. :)

Paper crafts, especially hand made cards using various techniques, making candles. Now I can make ATCs proud. I want to learn make my own necklaces, earrings, etc. During my sickleave I have found the "artistic" side of me and now I´m like a child who wanna try amd learn everything possible in crafting :)

Buffy, HEX, Grey´s Anatomy, ER, Holby City, Ugly Betty, Salatut elämät (a Finnish show), reality shows (or how do you call them?), etc. And how could I forgot, I´m a big fan of Emmerdale and I just love Hyacinth at Keeping up Appearences!

There are so many good movies.. Harmageddon, Twister, Harry Potter -movies, LoTR -movies, Gone with the Wind, good horror movies, and I love Mr. Bean! etc. etc.

From classical to heavy rock. My all-time favourite is ethnic music from different parts of the world. So, I listen almost everything. Everything that is music, I mean, not only shouting, there goes the line. Music means lots to me, it´s for cheering me up, relaxation, helping me concentrate, just having good time, etc.

Diamond Glaze (can´t get it here in Finland), Glitter glue, different colors (Stickles,...), Kool Aid, Morsbag, Anything related to Dia de los Muertos, shrines (wanna learn to make them myself), Anything VINTAGE (images, fabrics, anything) Pictures, items, well, anything, with image(s) of Vivien Leigh, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Elvis Presley, young Marlon Brando, James Dean

AND, I have two young girls (12 & 13 yrs old) in my neighborhood who are always willing to help me and they are big Japan fans! So, anything kawaii, and especially cute BENTO boxes will be really appreciated. I`d love to thank them in special way :)
