Some of my all-time favorites: "Lovely Bones" - Alice Sebold and "I Know This Much Is True" and "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb.

I also really like David Sedaris and Janet Evanovich books.

Reality TV and home decorating shows. Arrested Development, The Office, Good Eats, Every Day Italian, Mythbusters, some awful Game Show Network reruns like Love Connection, Jeopardy, Project Runway, Extreme Home Makeover, Golden Girls, Welcome Back Kotter, and Saved By The Bell reruns.
