I have recently begun using a postal scale (that I got for my birthday) and applying stamps at home on packages shipped within the US. I have been checking the amount at usps.com to be accurate & have had nothing with postage due arrive to a partner, so far but if it does, please let me know!! I'll make up for it!! I don't quite trust this system yet but it is helping me get my smaller swaps out much quicker...
Please contact me BEFORE rating me in a negative way!! I can't stress this enough. I value my rating!! Let me have a chance to make sure its gone out and make it right (re-send!!).
Please be honest. I'm generous but I am not niave. I may be late, from time to time, but will always send and try to add effort and extras. I put a lot of thought into making sure everything I send is something I'd want to recv. back. I love to surprise, so fill out your profile, I check!!!
I prefer to be addressed as "JH", for now... I am a happily married young thirty-something ready, willing and able to spoil and be spoiled, lol.
On the weekends, you'll usually find me at the beach, the zoo, an aquarium or renting movies. Other times at Barnes and Nobles or my local lil scrapbooking shops. My hubby works nights and we have no children (yet) so most weekday evenings are spent at home surrounded by piles of paper, ink, rubber stamps with my fingers all inked and glued up, crafting away, singing along with the radio (or with the TV on in the background) and loosing all track of time...
I am hopelessly addicted to paper and ink!! So, most creative endeavors of mine involve using those items in combination. Ex: ATCs, scrapbooking, rubber stamping, journaling, collaging, altering items, etc. I love collage. I am recently "hooked" on altered matchboxes (Im up to 5 that I've made and swapped). I also make greeting cards & even the occasional envelope. I also enjoy writing letters, journaling, poetry and photography... I ALWAYS have my camera w/ me!!!
Newbie ones (so I can get my rating up), postcards, paper/supplies, scavenger hunts, photography, poetry, ATCs, altered matchboxes and any others that catch my" mood of the moment" and put a twist on being creative!!!
An easy way to earn a heart from me, is to send anything: giraffe, daisies, orange (the color), polka dots or turtles!!!
I am a list maker, a note taker, a doodle/sketcher and a poetic writer. I could never have too many blank/sketch books. I prefer w/o lines (unruled). I prefer clickable office supply type, gel pens in almost ANY color (G2s are my fave!!) and any fine or extra fine markers. (acid free). Sharpies are the exception and I use them almost daily!!
I also love: the letter "S", scraps of "quality" scrapbooking patterened paper (as small as 3.5 by 2.5 inches), ink/chalk (those lil cat-eye ones), StazOn or Colorbox inkpads, rubber stamping items and clearly stamped images.
Please my sweet tooth with gummy & fruity candies (but not sours). Sprees (chewy) & Smarties are my faves I also like fruity flavored gum thats is not mint of any kind or cinnamon. My fave flavors are berries. I love extra dark chocolate but live in a climate that is pretty much always warm (south Florida) so it would prob melt (no matter what time of yr) and that would just be messy and ewww.
A better alternative would be salty things (bad for me, I know...) I am nuts about nuts, especially pecans, pistachios or almonds (roasted). I also love seasame sticks (these are hard for me to find!!), sunflower kernals (not in the shell) and pumpkin seeds (in the shell).
I love "naked" (w/o the envelope) postcards, arts and crafts odds and ends and anything beach/ocean themed. New/unused striped socks but none w/ toes in 'em, hairbands (unused of course), fabric ribbon (not the gift wrapping type), old/used magazines or magazine clippings (including random words or just letters!!!) and text in different languages (translation appreciated, if possible).
I also love motivating and uplifting quotes and sayings...My current fave "Blessed be the flexible for they shall not get bent out of shape".
I'm not picking but to please me, please avoid sending anything in any shade of pink (I'm self proclaimed allergic!!, lol). I prefer not to get "dollar store" stuff, unless it is specific to a particular swap (Astrologically, I am a crab and I have to be "in the mood")!!! I am also not fond of glitter, eyelets, gold, lace, girly or too cute (like Kawaii and Sanrio, though I have access to getting and sending that stuff out). Please no super tiny beads or plant seeds. Not fond of stickers with white borders. No buttons that are not flat and no scrapbooking supplies from dollar stores (no matter the swap). Smells and flavors that bother me and make me sneeze: most florals, tea, coffee, smoke, citrus (especially lemon), licorice and coconut. No make-up or bathstuff. I don't sew, crochet, knit or cross stitch. I am not a "pet person" (cats/dogs, etc) If I can't use it, please don't take offense if I pass it on to someone who can!!

Hi JH, I apologize to my impatience and requested for the 3rd re-send. Anyway, I’ll send something in return if 3rd package reaches me. Sorry for the inconveniences and thank you for you amicability. :)
I forgot to leave a comment with my rating...THANK YOU for the super collection of paper in my favorite colors! You are a generous swapper..
