Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am a Northern Girl at heart, living in Florida for 30 years, and originally from the north. I am married and have a smart and busy daughter. Every day is a challenge! I work and am also a volunteer at my daughter's school. I am also a Girl Scout Leader and absolutley love it. I've been in Scouting for 14 years. Needless to say, we are always making crafts. I love to make handmade items, especially for gifts. Most of all, I love to laugh and make others laugh as well. I've just had a ball finding new ideas and trying them here. I've come across some of the nicest ladies here!

Favorite Crafts

I have loved crafts since I can't even remember. I am not much of an artist (drawing), but love to coordinate colors, designs, and decorate handmade items. I love to decoupage, add embellishments, make cards, scrapbook, etc. I would like to start making button fairies, felt crafts, whimsey jars, etc. My favorite craft here is making matchboxes. They are so much fun, so I am trying new ones. Love embellishments for card making & matchboxes. I also love making tags; decorating them to give for birthdays or just because. Just started my first paper bag album, it's so much fun. Love to sort and go through old & new buttons and beads.
I would like to get started in swapping Friendship books (FBs) and especially Decos. Just signed up for my first deco FB!

  • Tea, tea cups and accessories
  • Vintage lace/doilies
  • Any type flowers/floral print
  • Polka-dots, plaids & paisleys
  • Gardening
  • Anything Girl Scouts
  • New or used postage stamps (would love some from other countries)
  • Love anything Italian.
  • My daughter LOVES unicorns!

Favorite colors

Colors Favorite colors: yellow, purple, green, violet, any purple shade just to name a few, but I am not too picky though.

  • Gothic
  • kawaii
  • Hello Kitty is fine.
  • "dark" things
  • half used sticker sheets (sorry!)

What did you use to make those two painted plastic thingy's (plastic heart)? If its what I think it is, gosh, I've been throwing that stuff away which I'll have to stop doing. Love the package.
