I am a Christian, happily married, mother of 3. I enjoy scrapbooking, quilting, crafting, cooking, baking, photography, watching good movies, bowling, journaling, 49ers, reading and especially being with my family. My favorite colors are purple, red and black. I love dogs and cats. I have three dogs and one cat. I am new to swap-bot and am loving all the swaps I'm participating in. And I'm a huge Disneyland fan! Our family has been at least 9 or 10 times (lost count) and we try to go every year, God willing. I just love walking through Main Street, USA. Fantasyland is my next favorite land in Disneyland. And I have several Disneyland scrapbooks of our trips. I'm always collecting old things from Disneyland yesteryear.

I LOVE to read and never have enough time to do it seems. I enjoy reading my Bible, classical literature, christian character building books, Lamplighter books, cook books and a few magazines I receive in the mail to name some. Right now I am working my way through "Feminine Appeal" and "A Severe Mercy" (as of 8/2009).

Watching movies is one of my favorite activities. My all time favorite movie is "It's A Wonderful Life" starring Jimmy Stewart. He's my favorite actor as well. I love all kinds of movies but especially enjoy old movies from the 30's and 40's. I do not like horror movies or movies that are too violent or have lots of foul language.

I enjoy anything that makes me stretch my imagination and creativeness, including in the kitchen. I love to experiment with cooking/baking recipes. I also love to quilt & scrapbook! I have a Cricut that I have used for many projects.

I watch a lot of cooking and food shows. I do enjoy some reality shows like the Biggest Loser, So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol and The Duggars. Chuck and Monk are two non-reality shows I enjoy viewing.

I love all kinds of holidays because they give me opportunities to do something special for my family with a theme. I would have to say Christmas and Thanksgiving are my favorite holidays. Christmas so we can celebrate the birth of Christ. Thanksgiving is all about thankfulness, family and food. A close second is Valentine's Day to celebrate the love we have for one another.
