Oye..where to start?

Well, let's start with the family. I've been married for eight years and have three children, 2 boys and 1 girl. I have a cat and sadly, the fish didn't survive long. (If you ask me, the algae eater was a poor representative of his species...but we won't discuss that any further). I'm in the process of finishing up my nursing transfer degree. My ultimate career goal is to become a nurse anesthetist.

I enjoy gaming, and my husband and I are serious World of Warcraft players. I'm also infatuated with Alice in Wonderland, Marvin the Martian, Corvettes (1976 Stingray, to be specific), calico cats, turtles, monkeys...ah, the list could go on.

I think I have a great sense of humor. I think there is very little that offends me, other than outright stupidity or a person's unwillingness to learn. I'm an open book. Ask and you might receive..LOL Oh, I also find it annoying when people pick out so many things they will not accept of do not like in their profiles. If someone is giving you a gift...like it for what it is...not what you expected! With that being said, I will happily accept anything that someone put thought into.

I enjoy making pottery. I prefer making it from raw clay, instead of buying the pre-made molds. I need to refine my skill, but I like my projects that I have made. Whether anyone else does...well, it's okay if they lie to me about them. LOL

Since I've been doing ATC's for a few months, I figured I'd update my profile a little. I'm not much of a drawer or painter. My lines just don't ever come out how they are in my head. Recently I have been practicing drawing. I'm not good at drawing from memory, but I can look at something and interpret it okay. My 'art' is more of utilizing creative applications. love utilizing stickers and proving that you can use a sticker and be artistic. I kind of take offense when people say "slap a sticker on". I absolutely love making handmade cards too. I think this is one of my favorite things to do! I'm most definitely a paper crafter and I love using embellishments. I really put time and effort into my swaps and I hope it shows.

I'm looking forward to these swaps and joined this site because my mom was on here. I know how much joy she gets from these swaps and I wanted to participate in something she loves.

I really enjoy reading. I think the best knowledge is usually in obscure places in which a person must go looking for it. Let's face it, most things worthwhile take you finding them, not someone giving you that knowledge.

I mostly enjoy literature from the mid to late 1800's. I find that these authors had a really deep sense of the world and what it was about.

I've been into the Philosophy And... Series. Currently, I'm reading Philosophy and World of Warcraft and Philosophy and Alice in Wonderland. I'm also reading Lucky by Alice Sebold, The God Delusion and just got done reading Push. All great books, btw, so I highly recommend.

I also enjoy reading true-crime and non-fiction science (specifically genetics/human heritage).

Basically, I like anything that makes you think and reflect. :)

I have an eclectic taste in music. If I had to pick one genre, it would have to be rock (Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Fly Leaf, 3 Days Grace, etc). I will listen to anything sounds good or mirrors my current emotion. I love to dance, so club and upbeat music is always a favorite.

I've been into Lady Gaga lately. Something about that woman really intrigues me. Oh yea, I also try to convince my husband that T.I (the rapper) is my lover. He doesn't believe me though. LOL
