Hello!

I'm a bit of a nerdy girl; I love video games, pixel art, science, books, and toys. And commas. I'm shy but prone to rambling on. I like cute things and the strange and unusual. Weird and wacky, anything unexpected. My sense of humor is slightly off... I'm a weirdo, but also open-minded and not easily offended.

I'm in college part-time studying to become a librarian. The rest of my day is at usually spent at work, at a high-stress desk job (boo.....).

I really enjoy reading people's profiles on here and trying to tailor my package to honor their likes/dislikes. If I was way off or you just don't like what I sent, please let me know!

There really isn't just one craft that I "do". I enjoy crafting projects of all types, and I love trying new things. I especially enjoy doing hands-on type of projects. I like interesting paper and found objects. I enjoy a challenge and am usually doing something impulsive.

My favorite San-X characters are Kutushita Nyanko and Nyan Nyan Nyanko. For Sanrio: Landry, Tenorikuma, and Nyago. I love the Q-Lia Smile Pocket series and anything with black cats.

My favorite colors are shades of pinks and blues, as well as coral, perriwinkle, lilac, and sunny yellow. Bright happy colors and some pastels are swell.

I'm a fan of glitter, rhinestones, and sequins (tasteful but not tacky) - but please do not worry, I know many people aren't, so you will not get a glitter bomb from me. :)

I can't stand the feeling of newspaper. Please do not wrap anything you send to me in newspaper. :(

I love books, but rarely have the time lately! :( I love humor books (such as Jen Lancaster and Laurie Notaro) as well as Tess Gerritsen's medical thrillers (never got into the Rizzoli and Isles series though). I do enjoy YA books as well as some non-fiction.

TV - I can't really keep up with any shows on a regular basis, but I watch comedies, cartoons, and a few reality/competition type shows on occasion. I like: Raising Hope, Community, 30 Rock, The Middle, Modern Family, The Soup/Web Soup, Tosh.0, Attack of the Show, Arrested Development, Monty Python, MST3K, Wonderfalls, United States of Tara, The Inbetweeners, Skins (not the US version at all), Dexter (I'm so far behind!), Futurama, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Project Runway, Top Chef, and America's Got Talent.

I love podcasts, they make my horrible commute a little less stabby. Nerdist is one of my favorites, if there are any you would recommend, let me know!

Music - I love music with a good beat, interesting lyrics, or a distinctive singer. Prefer songs without guitar/drum solos or just "noise". A few of my favorites: Adele, Alice Hum, Bjork, Elton John, Florence + The Machine, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, I Fight Dragons, Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, MC Lars, Ok Go, Regina Spektor, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer.
