05.18.13 My step-daughter has been in the hospital for 3 days (she was released today). I'm in a mad scramble to get swaps out on time. I HATE waiting until the last minute, but this time it was not an option. :(

My name is Rachel and I'm a military wife living out in Phoenix, AZ.
I've been swapping at Swap-Bot for over 5 years now, but I've been swapping & penpalling for as long as I can remember.
I do have Lupus, Fibromyalgia and a few other things but I don't let that stop me!
Although I've been in Phoenix for almost 10 years, I've met most of my friends online. That includes my husband, who I have known for 12 years and been married to for almost 10!
We have 2 cats (Monster and Walter) and one dog (Jack). They are our babies.
Last and certainly not least, I am a Christian. I promise I won't shove it in your face. Please don't stereotype me, I'm VERY open-minded and VERY hard to offend but I won't send Christian anything unless you specifically ask for it and you won't offend me by sending it! :)

I'd rather 2 things totaling $10 than 10 things from the $1 store!

If you haven't received anything from me PLEASE contact me right away and I'll make it right. I've been lucky so far to not have anything lost in the mail and I'd like to keep it that way but I know it happens so rather than instantly rating me a 1 or a 3 just contact me, I WILL answer back and I WILL fix it! :)

I'm tired of having to pay Postage Due to pick up packages. From now on they will be rejected and you will be rated a 3 or a 1 depending on the resend date

I try and angel all my swaps. Sometimes the swaps are high dollar and I just can't afford to do it so unless the swap specifically says "I can't angel" just assume that I will. On the swaps I won't angel I'm VERY picky about who I let in.

Swap-Bot to me is about meeting new people and having fun so I like to keep it that way!! :D

I'm a HUGE fan of Kawaii, but I pretty much ONLY swap Kawaii in the groups, I Love Kawaii Group and Kawaii Swapping USA.

If you're going to send Kawaii please read the following. I'm really sorry if this makes me sound picky but I'm so tired of getting garbage that I can't use and wouldn't even re-send to someone else.
~ I live in Phoenix, I have access to all the dollar bin Hello Kitty in the world and I have way too much of it so please don't even bother sending it to me. Most of the girls I swap Kawaii with don't want it either so I can't even re-gift it. It most likely will end up in a box that I send to my young nieces or the trash.
~ I'm really burnt out on Hello Kitty. I've been collecting HK since I was 8 years old so I have enough. If it's just too adorable for words then I'll make exceptions but for the most part you can stop sending it. :)

I LOVE sticker bags and slams. I love to make them and I love to share them. I don't do FBs, Label Bags or Decos. I'll take them and WILL pass them on but I generally don't participate in them. So feel free to send excess sticker bags and slams, I will most definitely participate and pass those on as well. I prefer HQ or N&N but will take whatever.

If you put a label in any of the bags that I make then I'll make them for you. :)

I love postcards. I like them naked and written on and addressed to ME (please don't send me postcards in an envelope that have been addressed to other people). I also like new postcards.

I am OVERLOADED on state/touristy postcards. Please don't send them unless it's a swap specifically for state/touristy postcards.

I don't mind zazzle postcards at all, in fact a lot of them are very cute. I do not want ad cards though. Thank you!

Kawaii postcards will get you a heart. Period. So will hand cancelled! :)

After 5 years on swap-bot this list has grown quite long. It never ceases to amaze me what people will mail out. That being said, I don't need or want the following:

I'm 38 years old and I don't have young children. Please do NOT send items intended for children. They will be tossed.
I do not want dollar store garbage because let's face it... 99% of it is just garbage. ;)
I do not want reward, tiny, or any sort of childish stickers (Disney, Barbie, Diddl etc...)
While I collect Kawaii (and Shinzi Katoh now too). I have NO need for cheap dollar bin Kawaii items. I live in a large city, I can get this myself. I appreciate the thought but when I'm in a Kawaii swap I am not sending this stuff out and I would rather it just be left out of my box.
NO Tokidoki or "real animals/children/people" . No Diddl, My Little Pony, Disney.
I.HATE.CLOWNS!!! They terrify me, I can handle almost anything but please do NOT send me a clown. Thanks!

NO more touristy postcards. I have way too many and I just give them away. IF it's a naked postcard then that is ok. Map Cards are also ok.
Please no handmade items unless you have worked out a private swap with me. I have no need for this stuff.
I follow a strict Paelo diet so please NO coffee/tea/candy/.. pretty much don't send food. :(
