My name is Rachel and I'm a military wife. I was born and raised on the East Coast so being out here in Phoenix is different but I love it.

I have a husband whom I (almost always) love with all of my heart, 2 cats (who annoy the living crap out of me) and one dog who is the sunshine of my day (how's that for cheesy?)

I have a "real job" but I much prefer my side projects. I do web design. I also run an eBay store that mostly contains girls clothing (some boys and some adult woman's clothing). The eBay store profits go entirely to the Autism Society of America. My nephew is Autistic so this organization is very important for me.

I am obsessed (to the point of needing help) with Hello Kitty, socks, trial sized/miniature items, snowmen, crafty items (even though I'm just a wanna be crafter), hair thingies, pens and stickers, stationary, gift bags and tissue paper. I'm also obsessed with nail polishes and lipglosses.. (Juicy Tubes are my absolute favorites). Nailpolishes I'll wear anything from clear to black but NO greens or yellows. They make me look like I have fungus.. lol

I like to read, watch movies or TV with the husband, go driving with the windows down and the music up (especially at night when it's on the tad side of chilly). And I absolutely LOVE to game. Oh I love to do laundry too. almost forgot! I love eBay!

I hate cleaning house (but I hate a dirty house so I'm screwed on this one). I hate talking on the phone. I hate "mean girls", but mostly I don't give one flying fart about Hollywood and who's doing who and who is on drugs and who's knocked up. Period. I have my own life to live. :)

I'm not a music snob. I will listen and enjoy everything from classics to rock/metal/industrial. I PREFER to NOT listen to country or ghettorap but there are a few exceptions. We have right about 300 DVDs at this point. I like everything from Pixar to Scarface. If I had to pick a favorite it would be impossible. I love everything by Kevin Smith and I hate everything that has Lindsey Hillary or the Olsen girls in it (not because I hate them but because they have yet to make anything good) When I have nothing better to do I'll start a list. :)

I'm not a tv snob who says things like "I don't watch TV because all TV shows suck". I grew up without a television. When I was young I thought it was because we were deprived. Now that I'm older I know it was because my parents didn't want me to turn into a pathetic, mushhead brainless idiot. That being said I do have a bunch of TV shows that I like to DVR and watch. Office, ER, House, Medium, Ugly Betty, CSI (only the Las Vegas one), The Tudors and a few others I'm probably forgetting. La la la!
