I have 2 cats, Molly that is 12 years old, a black and white Tuxedo cat, and then Tiger born on our property the spring after Hurricane Katrina, she's Tiger striped, of course. I live a mile from the beach, Gulf of Mexico.

Update: We lost Molly today 8/05/11 to Feline Infectious Peritonitis, she was such a sweet baby girl.

Latest update: 10/02/11 - we have a new kitty, an adorable calico about 6 months old, her name is Jenny.

Thanks to Katrina, my house is all new now, and I accent most rooms in red (this is a first for me, never liked red until the last few years). I like rooster items for my kitchen. My bedroom and bath are done in an "old cottage by the sea theme" and I used a sort of sea mist green color (Sherwin Williams calls this color "Interesting Aqua") and I also use chocolate brown in those two rooms, as well.

I like the oldies from the late 60's and 70's, some country, southern gospel music, light rock, easy listening and piano music.

Anything by Nicholas Sparks, Anita Shreve, Mary Higgins Clark and Debbie Macomber. Sue Grafton is another fav author. I recently read The Secret Life of Bees (recommended by my best friend) and it's at the top of my list of favorites,

Gone with the Wind is my all time favorite, but I also love Forrest Gump. Pretty Woman, too!!! I like romantic movies that have happy endings. Oh and Driving Miss Daisy!

Leave it to Beaver, King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, Andy Griffeth, Frasier, I Love Lucy, and anything on HGTV.

I make ATCs, a few cards, decorated envelopes and I do some scrapbooking.

My favorite colors for a cards or ATCs are black and white, and then black and white with a splash of color!

Small Prima Flowers or any pretty flowers that are almost flat, that can be used on cards and ATCs to send through the mail. All colors. Actually anything from very tiny up to about the size of a quarter!

I like candles, Yankee brand is my fav, and I like the fruit scents, like strawberry, but not apple, (I love some of their discontinued ones like Raspberry Sorbet & Lemon Zest) and also the kitchen scents, Hazelnut Coffee, Butter Cake, etc. Anything Cinnamon or Pumpkin is great, too.

I love Scentsy pots and Blueberry is my favorite scent.

Double sided papers for crafting, textured paper, too. Bazzil is a favorite paper.

Ribbons and lace - even small pieces are great for ATCs.

My favorite colors are bright blue (but like all shades of blue), lime green, purple and pink. I love the bright blue and lime green combined, and also pink or blue combined with brown. I have loved purple, pink and blue since childhood. I don't dislike any color but orange is probably my least favorite, but only in clothes, I don't think orange is a good color for me.
