I am very excited to be part of Swap-bot!
I live just outside of Atlanta but am originally from NJ. I am a flight attendant, and my favorite trips are international.
I have lived in London, Paris and Durban, South Africa (and miss it a lot!).
I love to knit! I love and appreciate all handcrafts of any kind. I have a large balcony, and when I am home I enjoy sitting there watching the world go by. I also love to spend time decorating my apartment.
My favorite colors are purple/periwinkle blue, acid green, pink and red. I love tea, anything retro and gum (that's new--don't know why!!).
I appreciate receiving anything in the mail--it brightens my day, since we don't use 'snail mail' as much as we used to.
Likes: tea, coffee, anything retro/vintage, gum (especially bubble gum), candy, handmade soaps, knitting, local postcards, origami, hand cream* (please see dislikes), lip balm* (please see dislikes), crochet (I'm trying to teach myself!!), anything international, anything handmade, anything recycled, any skin care or bath products that do not contain petroleum. I also love to cook! It relaxes me after flying and because I eat out so much when I'm working, I really love a good (or even bad!) home cooked meal.
My Wish/Dream List (a work in progress):
-- Fun tape measures -- A 2012 Mini Cooper S -- Knitting needle gauge (why can I not find any of the ones I have??) -- A tall, dark, handsome and kind man with a good sense of humor who is emotionally secure -- Fun knee socks -- World peace -- Size 6/0 glass beads -- A cure for cancer -- Dotee faces
I will try hard to please my swap partners. :D
Also, I pledge to rate. I don't work and live in the same state (there's 1,000 miles between the two!!), so as soon as I can get my mail I will rate! Truthfully, guys, I put a little piece of me in all my swaps and to not get a rating doesn't feel good. The only way I know you got my package is when you rate!
I am starting to get into country, which I have never done before! I like classic rock, easy listening, pop and classical. I have to admit, I am really liking Hoda's Playlist selections, including the hip hop stuff (it may be an age thing--you know, getting older and trying to embrace it!!).
The Secret Garden, The Bible. I'll think more about this and add to it!
The Reader, Medicine Man, Immortal Beloved, The King's Speech, Red Violin, Couples Therapy, My Cousin Vinny (a true classic!), The Holiday, Love Actually, The Help.
"Keep calm and carry on".
That's easy--Modern Family. Project Runway. Pan Am. Also The Fabulous Beekman Boys. :)) And pretty much anything on HGTV.
Paganism, vampires, bloody stuff and profanity, anything "adult themed".
*I love all toiletries and bath products but I don't use petroleum products.

Hi! Thanks for asking. How about something fun and funky! That would be great!! :)
What a great swapper you are! I'm so happy with my yarn. I know I'll love knitting it, and my feet will be so pampered in this deluxe yarn. Thank you, again.
i automatically knew it was from you even without the note :)
No one fought over the toothbrush. My oldest had a friend spend the night that evening and we gave it to him because he forgot his. ;)
I love my flight attendants when I fly! You guys and gals definitely do rock! I'm an "outside of Atlanta" girl too :) And I'd be up for a private swap with you sometime too.
A belated "Welcome to the 'Bot!" :D
Stopping by to say you Flight Attendants ROCK!!! I've just returned home after flying all over the Middle East and Africa and you guys and gals made my travels so much easier. I'm guessing you based out of the ATL might mean you're a Delta gal:-) Please holla if you wanna do a private swap. I'm game. Kaye
