Hello! My name is Becca. I'm 24, I'm a Libra, I live in NJ, Second gen. Russian chica in my family, and engaged to an amazing man named Steven. He is so good to me, and makes the best mexican food I've ever had! nom nom nom!! (ha! i love to nom.) I love to sew and craft, I also have a huge collection of kawaii goodies that seems to keep growing and it makes my hubby insane!! I am completely OBSESSED with Hello Kitty. I have her tattooed on the top of my ice cream cone on my right sleeve, and my wedding band is actually Hello Kitty as well! My hubby is currently in Arizona to finish up school, so thankfully I have found this website to hopefully pass some time while I am waiting for him to come home (I am flying out to visit him in August, so I am so so excited for that!). Hmm what else.. I have a 2 lb. chihuahua named Tomek (ha! I love my taco babies!).

My occupation is a hair stylist. I am an extension specialist for Balmain and Cinderella Hair. If you are wondering about my hair, it is actually quite short naturally! I have Balmain fusion extenions in my hair. They are bonded to the hair with a keratin bod which will expand and contract in water so your hair will not get ruined in the bond! Its very cool and I love being able to see the look on people faces when they see theit new beautiful long hair! I also make fancy clip-in extension, so if you are interested in having fun hair like me, let me know! Maybe I will open up a small etsy shop or something. i also really enjoy making kawaii hairclips, headbands, and other hair accessories!

I am going back to school in January for Occupational Therapy as well :). I will be leaving NJ and going to San Diego to go to school. I'm very excited, it's been a dream of mine for a very long time to go to school for this, and I have finally saved up enough money to do it! I want nothing more in the world then to help these amazing children.

8-21-2009: I'm doing slightly better now. This is really the first time I've sat at the computer in about a week. Thank you all SO much for your kind and thoughtful messages, they really ment so much to me. I find it so amazing how you all barely even know me and somehow you've all reached out to me. They all make me tear up a bit, its nice to know that I have real friends here

I really love to make recycled art. I really enjoy going to thrift stores, yardsales, and sometimes dumpster diving (haha!) to find random stuff to turn into something fantastic! Recently, I have been really into making mini Dia De Los Muertos/Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe altars & creepy altered toy shrines similar to my favorite artist, Jane Wynn. I really love to make colleges, and those are probably my favorite types. I love working with lots of different & interesting ephemera, glitter, paints, texturizers, wallpaper, metal, wood, toys… You name it! If it speaks to me, I use it! I’ve recently started to tamper with making mini ones to put on necklaces or make broaches out of, but I’ve never completely finished one yet, sadly. I have also recently started to fall back to my original love of sewing. Again, hunting down different pieces, cutting them up, and sewing them back together to make something original that no one else will ever have! I really love to work with different vintage fabrics (mostly cotton with interesting prints) as well as vintage notions (I’m opened to pretty much anything cool I can find), and merging them with new fabrics to make something totally fun and wearable.

I've also started to take interest in doll-making. I havn't made any yet, but I want to start trying my hand at it, as well as making some dotee dolls to give away as well :).

I am moving to San Diego in January, so I'm really trying hard to cut back on all of the "little things" that I get sent in swaps, unless they are something that I really need.... I don't want to have to throw a lot of these things out when I move because I am not taking much with me. Steven and I are buying pretty much all new things when we get there. So my wishlist has been shrunk quite a bit because of this as well.
