I'm a graphic designer, working in advertising. I'm obsessed with postcards and stationary, recycling, fabric, and funky mirrors. I'm always on a quest for a new ethnic grocery store or a thrift store.
Colorful patterns, Mexican Folk Art, the Southwest, envelopes, postcards, vanilla, candles, black tea, Ireland, India, quilts, yarn, beads, scarves of all kinds, headbands, rice noodles, Thai food, letters, calligraphy, foreign languages, cello music, pens, magazines (particularly home decorating/design and fitness), glass mugs, dishes that don't match, weightlifting, lip gloss/chapstick
Anything frilly, lacey, or "cutesy", motivational posters/books/sayings, pastels, knick-knacks, asparagus, bananas, fruit and mint teas, the 80s, wasting things, traffic
Tea preferences: I love black teas, particularly those that are "desert" flavored, like vanilla and caramel. I also enjoy most green, oolong, and white teas. I'm not too into herbal teas, and I don't enjoy teas that are fruit flavored. If you have me in a tea swap, though, don't hesitate to send what you have - I'll find someone who will drink it!
MOVIES: Junebug, Agata and the Storm, Million Dollar Baby, Sideways, You and Me and Everyone We Know; I love foreign films, especially Italian.
TV SHOWS: Medium, The Office, Scrubs, Boston Legal, Nip/Tuck, Rome, The First 48
MUSIC: Dar Williams, Allison Krauss, Tori Amos, Neko Case - any haunting/lyrical female voice
