I've been a swapper here since April 2007.

Just Some Notes:

I usually mail my swaps out early. If you haven't received your mail in a reasonable amount of time, please let me know. Although 99.9% of my mail has arrived to it's destination, there has been a couple things that has gone astray.

Also if you are expecting a rating from me, and don't see it when you are expecting it, just PM me. I have, a few times, thought I left the rating, but it never showed up. Either I forgot to hit the save button, or swap-bot had a hiccup.

Communication is the key to any good swapping relationship!

Things I like:

• Lilac flowers, lilac trees, pink day lilies, ferns, green nature
• Colors of sage green, mauve, teal, purple and silver
• Jacobean style floral designs
• Geometric designs
• Coffee, all kinds and fully leaded, ground or beans
• Fruity herbal type teas
• Sugar Free gum
• Dark chocolate, or chocolate with raspberry (please don't send chocolate in the summer as it melts into squishy little puddles!)
• Lilac, lavender and cucumber melon scents
• Yarn, yarn and yarn
• Little hanging beaded earrings with leverbacks (prefer silver over gold) - I like leverbacks because it keeps me from losing so many earrings!
• Little beaded bracelets (but since I'm fluffy, I need like an 8" bracelet.)
• Buttons & Beads
• Collector of odd and unusual lions
• Collector of angel ornaments
• Prefer the music of the 70's
• Crocheting
• Sewing
• Making button fairies and postcards
• Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins & The Lion King

Things I don't like:

• Colors of the 70's -- gold, rust, avocado and orange
• Clowns. Clowns are creepy to me.
• Kawaii type stuff
• Cutesy things such a diva, princess, etc.
• Country things such a teddy bears, kitty cats, ducks, etc.
• The dark side such as goth, horror, etc.
• Too much frou frou (a touch of it's okay)
• Rap or Scream-o

Favorite Music:

• The 70's -- or "Soft Rock" as the Time-Life Music people call it.
• I will listen to anything at least once so I can learn about "new" music. However, I don't do rap or the stuff they call "scream-o" -- it gives me a big headache.

Favorite Movies:

I think my all time favorite movie is Mary Poppins. I saw this when I was a kid, and then I bought it for my kids and we could just sit and watch this over and over and over. My second all time favorite movie is the Lion King.

Favorite Television:

• Ugly Betty
• Grey's Anatomy
• Jeopardy
• Home shows on TLC

Favorite Crafts:

• Crochet is my very favorite thing to do.
• I also sew when the mood strikes or when I need something mended.
• I make postcards. I try and use recycled materials when it's an option.
• I make button fairies with crocheted wings of my own design.
• I've dabbled in many crafts over the years, and am always open to learning something new.

Wish List:

• I enjoy seeing your own personal creations.
• I don't really wish too much, I'm terribly practical. You can send me something to help make me "unpractical"!
• I can always use some buttons, ribbons, beads … the usual or unusual crafty type stuff.
• Some fabric to make Morsbags, or some Morsbags you've already made.
• Some amigurumi eyes or just half round black buttons.
• A paper punch that makes 1 inch squares.
• Plastic yarn needles. (Where do these things go?)
• Origami paper so I can try to make something cute.
• Deco tape - I don't know what deco tape is, but someday I want to see some.
• Yarn!
• If you really feel adventurous, I'd like some roots for a lilac tree, a rhubarb plant or any of those other plant things I've listed above, that I could plant in my yard.
• Or a chihuahua. :) (Yes, a real one would be fantastic!)

IN GENERAL:

I've been happy with everything I've received in a swap. Some things were brand new to me and that is really nice to receive something I've never known about before.
