I have been a member of this site for five years. I have completed 851 swaps, with 2,040 five ratings and 1,350 hearts. I swap here because I genuinely enjoy it. I always send out my swaps, usually early. Exchanging postcards is the passion and joy of my life. I spend a lot of time when I send out swaps reading my partners profiles and sending something that I think they willl like. I was getting ready to go away for the weekend when I received a one rating last week from Rhondalea6. She had never contacted me or let me know that she hadn't received my card as I would have gladly resent it. I promptly sent out a replacement card before leaving Thurdsday morning with my family on vacation. I came back from vacation on Sunday January 29 and checked in- first reading my messages. I had received a message from postcardz that she had not received a card for a swap so I sent her a message saying thank you for letting me know and I would have a replacement card in the mail tomorrow. However, I then went to my profile and saw that she had already rated me a one, stating that she contacted me and I did not respond. She left me as message on 1/27 and rated me a one on 1/28. I returned from vacation on 1/29. I am completely appalled at the rudeness and lack of courtesy of the users on this site. I have met many wonderful swappers over the years, but unfortunately a few bad ones spoil things for everyone. I put a lot of time and effort into my swaps and refuse to be treated in this manner. So I am saying goodbye to swap-bot. Good-bye to the many wonderful people I have swapped with over the years. I always treat people with respect and dignity and expect the same in return. I will of course finish all the swaps I am currently signed up for then I will not be returning to this hostile atmosphere where it is no longer enjoyable to swap.

I collect postcards from around the world. I love all kinds of postcards, especially those that show me about the area where you live. I like landscapes, city views, monuments, historical buildings, tourist attractions, map cards, anything unusual or tacky. I also love cards showing close-ups of faces, children or babies, cowboys/rodeos, farming/ranching, black and white, erotic, animals, sea life, USPS cards, and Disney cards!! I like to have my cards stamped and written.
