About Me

I am married and have two daughters. I prepare Income taxes and am an accountant, so I am used to always having to meet deadlines throughout the year. I am a crafter at heart. I have been crafting since I was a child. I enjoy scrapbooking, stamping, but my favorite craft is making ATCs. I am not limited, and I can get interested in a lot of things!

Favorite Music

I like a variety of music. It can be anything from classical to rock to the top 40. I can pretty much listen to anything. I enjoy oldies-disco and I guess I can't get over the fact that the 80's are over!!! :(

Favorite Books

I have read many Anne Rice books and I have to say that she is my favorite author. I also like Stephen King. I also like re-reading the classics. I particularly like novels set in the Victorian age.

Favorite Television

I love comedy shows and cable. I enjoy Weeds, Californication, Big Love, Dexter, Curb your Enthusiasm, Hung, Nurse Jackie and my favorite is True Blood. I like Glee, 90210, Melrose Place, and I am trying to get into the Vampire Diaries. And, of course I love "Dancing with the Stars". I enjoy older comedy shows such as Friends, Everybody loves Raymond, Frasier, Reba, King of Queens and the Nanny. I also enjoy House of Payne and Meet the Browns.

Favorite Things

My favorite color is purple-any shade I usually wear black-with a splash of color I have a pig collection and like pigs I have 4 cockatiels, 5 parakeets, and 3 dogs. You can see our family loves animals. I love stickers, paper, markers, colored pencils, embellishments, stampers, ribbons, glitter and gift bags! I like morbid to cutesy. I love vampire folklore as much as I like kawaii style! I like surfing the internet for images, especially vintage (victorian, 20's to present). My favorite holiday is Halloween and I embrace "Dia de los Muertos".

Comment: I never received a reply from my email or my swap for the embellished sharpie art atc swap from either my partner or the coordinator. Nov. 13 - I did receive an email from you today. I never did receive a message stating that you would be later than the due date of Oct. 28 or I would have waited much longer. When I posted this message on Nov. 11 the sent date was not showing that you mailed the ATC on Nov. 9 other wise I would have kept on waiting. Just as soon as I receive your swap I will change my rating to a 3 since it is very late. I am not being hateful but I feel like I waited a long time before receiving any communication from either you or the coordinator. Thank you! Nov. 17 - You did a fantastic job on the Embellished Sharpie ATC. I did receive all your explainations from your emails about never flaking, just slow. I have rated you a 3 as agreed since it was so late otherwise I would have given you a 5 with a heart for the goodies that you included. I hope you will understand! Thank you.

Comment: That's really funny that you said that I complete you. Maybe we are realated somehow. There is no way of truely knowing :) I really liked your card. IN MY LIFE is one of my favorites too. And honestly, I always imaged that being a perfect funeral song and I would want it to be played at mine too! So yeah, I guess we do complete each other!! Comment: OMG!!! What a great ATC! Thank you so much! We have a movie theater here in The Tampa, FL area that does still show RHPS on Sat. and they still do audience participation!!! My mom used to take me every Sat. night when I was 15, that was how we spent quality time together!

Comment: Mail Deadline 16th October - now 9th November - nothing yet sent and so nothing received - happy to upgrade to a 3, if something should arrive. Although did email to say there would be a slight delay in despatch. Feb 10th - Replacements have arrived, and very nice they are too. As promised I have upgraded my rating.
