During the day, I'm a freelance marketing, public relations and media guy working for a number of companies.
When they're not looking, I'm a long time artist and ATCer. I usually work with collage and Sharpies (although rarely at the same time), because both are readily available, even when I'm sitting at my desk. :) I also enjoy drawing, painting, and photography when I have the free time.
As for my interests, I am seriously into anything 3-D. this means everything from of stereo-views to View-Masters, Tru-Vus and more. As you've probably figured out, this kinda helps explain my handle.
I read a lot, so my favorite book is almost always something new (to me at least). Usually, however, I'm reading a mystery... everything from themed series (Den of Antiquity, Agatha Raisin, etc.) to hard boiled crime thrillers/procedurals. Some of my more recent favorites include books by John Connolly, Jack Kerley, Ed McBain, Val McDermid and Colin Dexter.
Occasionally a horror, sci-fi or fantasy novel will work its way in there. If so, it's probably by Peter Straub, Richard Laymon, James Rollins, Lincoln Child or Douglas Preston.
OK, I don't always have the attention span to sit through an entire movie, so it needs to be something kinda attention-grabbing. So nothing too exciting here, just the usual big-bang kinda fare. My favorites include superhero movies, Disney movies, anything (well-) animated, thrillers, etc. Comedies are good, but they need to be a little clever.
Right now I'm not watching nearly as much TV as I have in the past. Old favorites include Arrested Development, the Muppets, Teen Titans and the eternal stream of Law & Orders that runs 24-hours a day.
Currently, I'm into Fringe (which keeps getting better), Family Guy, Top Chef, the Simpsons, 30 Rock and (yes, I'll admit it) American Idol.
My tastes for music range all over the place from rock and pop (well, more pop than rock) to bluegrass and acoustic to classical and even opera. Some of my all time favorites include Aimee Mann, the Pet Shop Boys, the Eurythmics, Dusty Springfield, Judy Collins and others.

hey, Bill... I wanted to add to my comments on the Agatha Rasin books..since we seem to like a lot of the same stuff, have you read any books by James Lee Burke? I have been listening to his stories as Audio books, so if you have a chance to check them out from the library, they are really great ..The narrator, Mark Hammer, is really great, I think you would really enjoy them..the "Dave Robicheaux" detective series is set in and around New Orleans and New Iberia, Lousiana, and he has some great characters...I can't tear myself away once I start listening!!

Wow, I really like your ATC's of the planets interpreting them for the Roman gods they are named after...hot! I would like to see Venus...I would trade you for them but I am a newbie in ATC's and fear it would not be an even trade. I really like your profile too!
