30-Something mom to 4 1/2 yr son and wife. I just got my first job as a nurse. We have two dogs (a mutt and a rescued greyhound), one cat, and twenty chickens. we love to go to the beach, hiking, gardening, etc. We are pretty much outdoorsy, rural people.

I just got a job as a nurse. I graduated May of 2007, then in June my son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. We lost our babysitter and no one would look after him, so I couldn't go to work. Finally after a lot of searching we found someone to look after my son, Yeah!!!!

I love batiks, halloween, autumn, floral fabrics. I'd like to do a scrap quilt with blues and yellows at sometime.
I'd love to do a dog themed quilt, cat themed quilt, a tractor themed quilt. you can never have to many neutrals or background prints either;) OOOOOHHHH! I just LUV Fabric!!!!!

I am a big NIN fan from waaaay back. Besides that my musical tastes are quite ecletic: country, rock, hip hop. Whatever fits my mood!

In my car currently is the new NIN disc, Metallica, Miranda Lambert, Flaming Lips, and Rhihanna. Just to give you and idea!!

Night by Elie Weisel left a big impression on me. I love to read the classics from time to time. Norse mythology is a fave.

I love Law & Order. Without a Trace, Ghost Whisperer, Jericho, My Name is Earl, Project Runway, Big Love, Saving Grace, The Closer, Deadliest Catch are also faves. Oh, the Backyardigans totally rock!!

Movies based on Jane Austen books, Hunt for Red October, Silence of the Lambs, Constant Gardener, Dogma, Christopher Guest movies.

Sewing is the big one, I just love fabric!! I can easily spend hours in a fabric store just petting fabric. I dabble in a few other Crafts.

My son! Dogs, Cats, Geese, Trucks, Chickens, Autumn, Winter, Spring, Butterflies, Ladybugs, Nature, Fairies, Sewing, A good BLT, Gardening, Hiking, Blueberries, The Beach, Baking Cookies, Pumpkin Pie, Tractors, Full moons...

I have bad allergies, so things that are realy perfumey bug me out!

Type 1 Diabetes which my son has.

We've recently had a emergency involving my son. He has a bad abscess above his front teeth. It has been playing havoc on his Blood Sugar numbers, so we've had to spend some time in the hospital. I'm going to try to get all my late swaps out as soon as possible.
