Hi!
I really am not good at describing who I am, but I will try.
First, I have to say that French is my first language, so please forgive any mistakes I could make in English ;)
I am currently working on my master degree in biology as well as moving in my new house and planning my wedding. This is a lot of stress, but exciting at the same time!
I am an "aged"-goth, which means that I cannot wear the vinyl minis of my younger days, but I have not totally sold my soul to the grown-up world. I have found an equilibrium between who I am and being taken seriously as an adult. I still like everything victorian goth and medieval goth, but definitively cannot pull it off as I used to.
I think I will talk a bit more about my spirituality as I intend to participate in pagan-related swap. I have been a pagan for more than ten years. I think I would qualify as a Green Witch. I identify mainly with the celtic pantheon and my matron Goddess is Morrigane. However, I feel a strong connection Ganesh, which I met when I went to India this year.
I think that is it for now!
My favorite bad is the Beatles (very ungoth, I know). I also like Deine Lakaien, The Cruxshadows, Loreena McKennitt, Princesse Robert, David Bowie and Indochine.
I am also listening to a lot of classical music and I have a thing for russian composers (my favorite is Tchaîkovsky)
And I love old 80's songs and I think that the song that always make me happy is 99 Luftballons by Nena (the german version)
My favorite book of all time is the Lord of the Rings. I read it over and over.
Next come the Sandman saga for Neil Gaiman. Than Stardust by Gaiman.
I also loved the Eragon books and Harry Potter. I am a huge fan of fantasy althought I do not like most of the classical fantasy books (you know the ones that have covers looking like medieval/fantastic Harlquin), but the Wheel of time serie by Robert Jordan is an exception.
I also read of lots of books abouth mythology and paganism.
I love everything Tim Burton has done, The nightmare before Christmas and Sleepy Hollow being my two favorites. But I have loved all of his movies
I also like Practical Magic (there is something about this movie that just makes me feel good).
Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal are also two of my favorites.
Spirited away is another one. This movie made me dream awake.
And... The wedding singer always make me happy
I watch a lot of TV, but I am not passionate about that many shows.
The only one that really marked me was the X-files...
Right now I am watching Heros, Bones, House and CSI.
I also like to watch L.A.Ink. I am not a fan of every aspect of this show, but I like to see how independant these women are.
I mostly ilke to repurpose some items, but I love to make bead embroidery. I also make jewelry and knit/crochet a little.
My favorite colour is black and I like to pair it with vibrant colours like green, purple, silver, pink, blue and red. I also like these colours by themselves but i do not like yellow, orange and brown, unless it is on a natural item (or a representation of one)
I like tea but I do not drink herbal teas. Green fruit flavoured teas are my favorites, but I drink most of them.
I love coffee
I do not like ginger
Please do not send me any blank journal or notebook, I have more than enough
I have a mortal allergie to nuts, but not peanuts.
Also I am very allergic to cat hair. A few stray hair are ok, but something made of cat hair is not.

Hi Morrigane,
I noticed you love Tim Burton (and some other of our fandoms)... Maybe you would like to join our group The New Foundation 42.
I created a new ATC swap with Tim Burton as theme for this group.
I hope you will like the swap and maybe join.
Just 1 week left to sign up! If you have any questions or suggestion, feel free to pm me :-)

LOL
I had to laugh over the Elvis discussion with your boyfriend. That version is a famous version of Jingle Bell Rock, but I don't know who sings it. LOL It's just not Elvis.
Don't worry about the other two songs! I'm cool. Thanks so much! :)
Hey!
I enjoyed the CD, but just to let you know, there were some skips on the Celtic Christmas cut, and nothing but static on the La Bottine Sourtante cut. Also, some of the songs weren't by the folks on the list on the jewel case. (For instance, definitely not Elvis or Bing Crosby) BUT, I appreciate the CD and like it a lot! I just wanted to let you know. I loved the Bruno Pelletjer cut--that was very nice, and the Jars of Clay cut was really cool. Definitely not afraid of rocking it out at Christmas. :)
