Am just your old average bored now unemployed who secretly hopes aliens will land and tell me I am the long lost queen of their galaxy....

I'm just an overall lover of snail mail!

In my absolutely boring and mundane life in an office, a surprise in my letter box is all i need to sustain a level of excitement in my life. You can find me in postcrossing, sendsomething.net, postcardx... :D

First and foremost, although I love to eat, I would like to request that my swap mates DO NOT send anything edible my way ^^, even tea or anything powdered ^^ the Post has suddenly become very strict with edible goods ^_^ I just end up with a package that is OPENED and RUMMAGED through by customs :(

NOW!! I LOVE to swap & collect:

COLLECTING POSTCARDS, primarily I LOVE historical places such as palaces, ancient ruins, cathedrals and UNESCO places.... but I also appreciate receiving beautiful artistic postcards... and when I say art, it could be from a poster of a vintage/classical movie, black & white or lomography photographs, quirky, burlesque, circus... BUT NO FREE or AD CARDS please :D

Lately I have had the luck of receiving postcards of my favorite classic movie stars! :D I'm still hoping to receive Humphrey Bogart, James Stewart, Hitchcock, Audrey Hepburn.. and so on ^_^ would also love to receive postcards of old 1930's 40's movie posters :D or unique B&W cards of famous pictures.

COLLECTING CITY MAGNETS & SOUVENIRS I'm a big fan of old beautiful cities like the Czech Republic, Venice, Warsaw, Rome and such! And these are a couple of the cities, I failed to get magnets from :D ...

I COLLECT STARBUCKS CITY MUGS... you know those Starbucks mugs that have the city emblazoned around it?

I just love curiosities as well, conversation pieces like anything with historical backgrounds.... no matter how small they are! I am always looking for unique QUEEN of HEARTS playing cards.... Shakespeare related quirkyness...

I am a BIG PHOTOGRAPHY fan... and would love to receive random expressive art photograhy and/or lomography... polaroids... B&W... ooohhh just dont forget to sign on the back :D

I also love little trinkets that I can hang on my cellphone ^_^... unique bookmarks....

My tastes have taken me usually to Rockin' Roll and Jazz. Love bands like U2, Nickelback, Shinedown, Oasis, Foo Fighters... but then I am also a very very very big fan of Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, Edith Piaf, Andrea Bocelli, Ennio Morricone, Cecilla Bertolli...

Aw God, I am a HUGE movie buff/addict. It's a big pasttime of mine to spend my Saturdays in the cinema and buying Old classic films in amazon.

Favorite flicks are Casablanca, An Affair to Remember, A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life, Hitchcock masterpieces like Verigo & Rear Window, Sunset Blvd, Singing in the Rain, Maltese Falcon...

But recent loves include Fight Club, Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire, American History X (love Ed Norton), Crash, Little Ms Sunshine and all such wonderful movies :D

Hmmm... light reading has recently taken over my bookshelves. Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse Series, Harry Potter (Gah :D), Pride and Prejudice

And several Marketing books since I am a Marketer :D
