My name is Julie Happy and I live in Jacksonville, Florida.

My last name is Happy, and I am!, but I cry on everything! music, movies, cartoons and even McDonalds commercials.

3 kids 12, 21, 27 Married to Mr. Happy ;) we own a boring composites business, but sleeping with the boss has its perks!

I love living in Florida and so I love vinatge Florida anything, especially things about Weeki Wachee Springs and the Weeki Wachee mermaids, Cypress gardens and the ski shows, Johnny Weismueller as Tarzan.

UB40 and Ska , Phantom of the Opera, Gypsy Kings, aboriginal music from a band called nomad, also the music from the broadway show The Full Monty. the music from and Indian movie called Lagaan. Adel, Lily Alen and any music from Putamya ( they do collections of music from around the world )

Jane Eyre is my favorite book ever!

I have read everything ever written by Victoria Holt.

I also loved the Notebook and The First Ladies Detective Agency and Chocolat. I read all of the Harry Potters and loved all of them

The Whale Rider is probably my favorite movie. Lagaan, Chocolat, Jane Eyre ( with William Hurt ) Rabbit Proof Fence, Full Monty, Something New, Beauty Shop, all the Harry Potters

Survivor( I am ridiculous, I decorate my family room for Survivor, I have immunity idols that I have made and my sister and my dad carved me one from a tree trunk and I have a decorated torch, lol , because as long as you have fire your still in the game.

( and I don't care if that's ridiculous, I have fun! )

What Not To Wear, some shows on HGTV but I am not married to the TV, except Thursdays.

ATC's I really wish I had skills, I have lots of ideas but just can't make them come to fruition, but I will keep on trying. Maybe I will meet someone on here who "get" me

I have 8 acres with a ridiculous amount of weeds with some really cool plants stuck here and there. My two favorite plants are a Banana Magnolia that smells like banana pudding and my lemon grass.

Although I hate to shop, and I am not a material person, I love expensive perfumes and make up.

I love shoes too and I have a few pairs of gorgeous shoes, however, I am not very graceful and so most of the time they stay in my closet.

the smell of rain, homemade thoughtful gifts, Tarzan, pug dogs and anything with pugs on it, , paper dolls, recipes and spices, my family and my in-laws, unique names, different cultures, margaritas ( but not Jimmy Buffet ) the football teams of the Gators and the Jaguars, didgeridoo music, foreign films, mustard greens and grits

The only thing I dislike is people who try to intimidate you with religion or shove it down your throat, anything political and above all any kind of prejudice !!!!!!!!

In my office, I have a very old old bathroom. It used to be an outdoor restroom for a gas station. That was in the 1950's ( yucky ) since then the buidling has been remodeled a bunch yet the bathroom is still UGLY so for the last year I have been cutting out pictures of flowers, birds, butterflies, owls, waterfalls and I have decoupaging ( or wallpapering ) my bathroom. I am about halfway there, but I thought it would be really fun if people send me pictures to help me get this room finished. they can come from a magazine or be a picture you took. I want to do all the walls and the ceiling! thanks!

I hate to be picky and petty so I won't because anything someone gives you is nice, however I will say I am not into cutesy things, but I can always pass them on if I don't like them.

Since I really want to learn how to do these ATC's well, any constructive critisism , knowledge, or techniques would be greatly appreciated! I really want to make fun and pretty cards.
