Hey everyone, I'm Chen from Israel. I currently live in Afula with my husband and our super cute girl. I am a 35 year old social worker and gerontologist (which means I work with the elderly).
I'm a family person and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I really love to travel and my favorite cities are Manhattan and London (therefore I also LOVE shopping). I belive that one of the most important things in live is a good sense of humour and try to laugh as much as I can. Really, anything but racist or homophobic humour.
I'm not allergic to anything but I don't really love Vanilla scent.
*** Please take into consideration that I live in Israel and international mail can take up to a month in certain cases. Thank u for your understanding! ***
My new love and addiction are planners and organizers. I have a Domino personal size Filofax. Please note that Hebrew is written from right to left.
I love stationery - stickers, sticky notes, paperclips, washi tape, cute pens, PL cards.
As for the writing - I love pens and almost any pen will do but my favorite is Uni-ball signo 0.38 mm. You can't get these in Israel and if I get one in a swap - I'll be one of the happier people alive!!!
My father collects advertising pens so I don't mind getting them as well.
My big love is cardmaking and anything related to that - paper, stickers (not layered), bakers' twine, stamps, ink and enamel dot (these are my favorite!). I love bold colors.
I love reading and anything book related. My favorite books are:
The neverending story - Michael Ende and Ralph Manheim
The five people you meet in heave - Mitch Albom
Water for elephants - Sara Gruen
Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling
Q & A - Vikas Swarup - Jonas Jonasson
The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared
Have a Little Faith: A True Story - Mitch Albom
The time keeper - Mitch Albom
The first call from heaven - Mitch Albom
For one more day - Mitch Albom
My Family Right or Wrong - Ephraim Kishon
O Henry Short Stories
The bookthief - Markus Zusak
These are some of my favorites:
How I met your mother
The west wing
Jane the virgin
I love Disney, especially Disney princesses.
I LOVE stationery, enamel dots, paper crafts, stickers, washi tape, sticky notes, rubber and clear stamps, planner inserts, anything book related, cartoons, letter sets, pens - especially those with felt tips.
I also LOVE nail polish - any color, glitter or size will do.
My favorite scent is Lavender.
Cartoons. any kind but mostly the Smurffs, Disney, Scooby Doo.
Owls, foxes, hedghogs, eledants, giraffes.
I have a good sense of humour. Dark and/or dry humour are the best but please don't send any racist or homophobic homour.
But mostly I'm just interested and delighted to see what surprises arrive... and if I really don't like something for some reason, I'll find it a good home somewhere :)
Lately I'm into Life Project. I have a simple stories' SN@P! binder, size 6x8 and started documenting our life.
Please don't send me crosses, angels, or anything religious and / or stuff that relates to non-Jewish holidays (Christmas, thanksgiving etc.).
If I get something I don't like or won't use, I think it makes sense to send it to another swapper, someone who I think will love it. Of course, I don't mind if you do the same :-)
Planner stuff - stickers, stamps, paper clips, charms...
Pictures / postcards of old people (I work with elderly and would love to decorate my office with that).
Cactus anything - stickers, photos, PC, magazine cut outs, charms...
I'm a really easy swap partner and would love alomost everything you send. I love to wait for the mail (my postman and I are best friends by now :-)) and I love the surprise that an envelope holds.
If for some reason you didn't get anything from me, PLEASE contact me before rating me1 or 3. If you send me a message I will gladly re-send the swap to you.
