NOTE!!: IF YOU HAVEN'T RECIEVED ANYTHING FROM ME, LET ME KNOW!! the post office has lost a lot of my stuff, and i've been so consumed with work that i haven't been able to keep track of any of it. (i know i'm to blame for some of it, but my MIA packages have been increasing in numbers, so i know it's not just me) i don't want anyone to feel like i've ditched out on my responsibilities!! needless to say, after my current swaps, i won't be returning until i get a PO box or something that's possibly more reliable.

i'm a desert rat who looks corn-fed. i wear ann taylor and chuck taylor. i hope someday i can do muay thai competitively or get in a really awesome bar fight. i wish i had a moustache like dali or selleck (girls should be able to rock facial hair too!). i'm not easily offended and laugh loudly at cheesey jokes.

most of my time and money goes into the following: books, magazines, amateur photography, muay thai kickboxing, playing guitar, illustrating, graphic design, riding bikes, and wishing i got more mail.

i like moustaches, surfing, anything regarding man v. society, feminism, horror flicks, tattoos, pin-up girls, anything 1950's, old cheesey sci-fi movies/images, japanese brush art, biology, vintage cowboy stuff, punk rock, organics, etiquette, bright colors, street art/graffitti (BANKSY is my hero), things that are useful rather than just ornamental, airplanes, sushi, foreign languages, low-rider bikes, origami, guinness, dia de los muertos, d.i.y. zines, camping, realistic bones/skeletons, wine tasting, kick-boxing, taro root bobas, newts, the smell of new plastic and vanilla lavender, LUSH products, smooth textures, monochromatics, gas masks, squids, polaroids, photobooth shots, prayer cards/markers from obscure saints...

artists i like are: paul pope, banksy, cindy sherman, barbara kruger, marina abramovic, frida kahlo, alphonse mucha, ryan mcginley, david lynch, akira kurosawa, enid crow...

things i DON'T like are: american chocolate (i know! i'm just not human!), pastel colors, cartoons, disney or anything mainstream/corporate, babies, dolphins, fairies and roses.

i don't watch tv anymore, but when i did, it was: the young ones, scrubs, moonlighting, forever knight, and twilight zone. now that this american life has their own tv show, i might have to sit down in front of the ol' boob tube every once in awhile again.

i'm obsessed with documentation and learning. i love photos. i spend too much time at work, which leaves me little time to play, so i prefer to sign up for swaps which require little construction. that doesn't mean i won't put mass effort into making a package that'll make your day. i'm a die-hard crafty ruka-in-training, and i like to sign up for new or unusual projects.
