I unschool my children and loving it!

Originally I come from Bavaria Germany, but love brought me to the US in 98 and I am here ever since. At the moment in the Pacific Northwest. I LOVE it here! Including the weather LOL I also have two dogs, one little Chihuahua (he is the kid's) named Thor and a Chinese Crested (hairless) named Sokrates (Socks for short)

I am slowly getting comfortable with who I am and love to express myself artistically.

I love to entertain, to cook, to feed people, to meet new friends and to hang out with my old ones...

I also write knitting patterns. Mostly for lace shawls, but also other things :)( there are some free ones on my blog! )

knitting, spinning, dyeing, weaving, cooking (Big one), painting, crazy quilting, I started on ATC's and got hooked! :D

Here is one of my latest ones: Done today Oct. 2, 09, watercolour on card stock, gel pen, printout and letter stickers (originally done for the one for all swap, monthly ATC swappers group, but I ended up not joining the swap)

I am very, very fond of cooking and trying new dishes.

Music A little bit of everything. I like classical as well as modern. A bit of big band, blues, rock, Reggae, ethnic music, (ido belly dance) I listen to: Drowning Pool, The Mavericks, Juanez, The Bob of course, Rage against the Machine, Saliva, Son House, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, Glen Miller, The Beatles, The beach Boys, Cindy Lauper, oh so much more!!!

I rate and I will always be fair. Usually I give good ratings, it must have been super bad/no send for me to rate you bad. I give hearts when I see that someone really tried, even if I might not have liked the swap that much. I think the effort counts! I am always happy when someone goes through all that trouble just for me! That deserves a heart! :)

These things are not necessary in a package! They are just to give you a better idea who I am and what I do and what I like!

I give hearts for things done with love and effort - not for extras...I don't expect them nor do I send them every time, (but if I have something I know my swap partner would love I put it in the package!)

DO NOT FEEL IT IS NECESSARY TO SEND ME ANY OF THIS!

• YARN and ROVING.. I'm an addict what can I say...
• anything "day-of-the-dead" related (hubby is Hispanic)
• Colors in general but my fav's are up there points up
• Candy.. I have two Kids and a husband I have to fight for it!LOL (most of all sour candy, but ikes and mikes are great or dots, chocolate is my fav. but hard to send without melting...)any gummy candy OH SOUR PATCH KIDS! those are a YUM!
• I like the "purple" scents.. as in lavender, lilac , I also like vanilla and earthy smells (the good dirt not the garbage dirt LOL) grass smells good!
• I love indi anything! so cool to have something not off the rack yet LOL
• I love my kitchen anything for my kitchen is great
• I love postcards and notes and just litte "I thought of you" things.
• Stickers are big in our house...

• Thrift stores! I totally don't mind getting something from a thrift store! (given it is clean and not smelly! LOL holes don't bother me most of the time)
• I love lotions, shampoos soaps and such, but I am allergic to Aloe! So please keep that in mind when you send anything like that!
• !!Also: I would ask that you make sure what you send is NOT tested on animals and is biodegradable!
• I use soap nuts to do my laundry with, those are ALWAYS welcome here!
• I also make most of my own cleaning supplies with all natural ingredients, so any ingredients for that (pure glycerine soap/ liquid glycerin, any oils (eg. tea tree oil, lavender, rose oli,lemon oil etc. just pm me about the sent ) will be greatly appreciated. Nothing cinnamonn-y please!!! Beeswax, witch hazel borax, mineral oil, etc. Natural pumice stones, epsom salt, Herbs in general! Powdered green french clay, powedered kaolin clay
• Little flasks, vials, glass pots with lids that scew on or corks.. any pretty containers to put these lotions and bathproducts and cleaningsupplies in will be greatly appreciated!
• Anything for my kiddos! I love my babies and spoil them accordingly! ;)
• My DD is into making ATC's so any scraps of paper, or little beads, or extra glue, etc what ever you can spare, she would really love it!
• My DS is all little boy!
• MY DOG: I love him so much and spoil him rotten! He is a Chinese Crested (hairless) and he loves to wear t-shirts, even in summer bec. of his skin, (seriously he LOVES to wear stuff! My DD put a little scarf on her Chihuahua. My dog stole it off him and rolled around with it!) I buy him toddler T-shirts at the dollar store, or thrift store! Those are cute and inexpensive. He wears the size 24 Months and up. Anything for my dog would be fun! If you want to make something for him you should know: he is allergic to Lanolin and Aloe! He makes me so happy every day, I love to make him happy! :)

I am sure this list will grow with time, for now it shall be good! :)

• CHAI TEA! HATE it!
• THE SMELL OF CINNAMON! Hubby can't stand it! Please don't put anything cinnamon-y in my packages, I WILL throw out the whole thing and NO HEART FOR YOU! lol (Just kidding! If the package was nice you get a heart, but I'd throw it out never the less!)
• I love candles but sometimes they melt in the shipping, so I rather buy my own.
• I LOVE lotions, but am ALLERGIC to aloe! so please nothing with aloe....
• Kawaii.. I finally found out what it is! It is just a weee bit tooo cute for me... it creeps me out! Some things are adorable but MOST things creep me out to be honest!
• chain mail and forwarded emails! Please don't! thank you so much! :D

I had no idea I disliked so many things! Oh my! I AM picky! This part might grow a bit too in time.. sorry :)
