I love crafts of all kinds, I do genealogy, scrap booking, write poems, love having snail mail pen pals, collect bees, fleur-de-lis, bookmarks, and post cards (I like them best if they have the name of a place on them,it can be just a state, country or a certain town or restaurant, etc.). I am a Christian and really like to keep it clean. My favorite cartoon character is Tweety and my favorite childhood story is "The Prince and the Pauper." Favorite flower is the daisy. Favorite vacation spots are historical places.

When it comes to music, I like country music, I also like country gospel. There will always be a place in my heart for 60's music, I graduated in 1970 so it was my generation's music. I always loved B.J. Thomas, Hermann's Hermits, Monkees, and Leslie Gore. For country I like George Strait, Colin Raye, John Michael Montgomery and Randy Travis.

I read the Bible all the way through each year with my husband. I read a lot of Christian type books that are uplifting, funny or just educational. I also like non-fiction and historical books (not just a war book....too sad).

My favorite movies are definitely chick flicks. I like Sleepless in Seattle, While You Were Sleeping, 27 Dresses, 13 going on 30, August Rush, and most anything along those lines.

My television watching goes totally out of character. I watch CSI (all the different ones), NCIS, Cold Case, and Criminal Minds....I don't know why I like them. They don't fit with the rest of my profile at all, but it's true.

My favorite crafts are creating cards, I decopauge, I use plastic forks to create elegant fans to hang on the wall, I decorate my envelopes often, I scrap book, write poetry, write to pen pals, and pretty much try most new things I hear about to see if they are "me."

I'd like to learn how to speak French and Spanish. I like to learn how to play the piano. I'd like to have a pen pal from each state that is near my age.

One of my swaps says I need a wish list. I like anything with bees or fleur-de-lis on it. I like bookmarks. I also like NEATLY STAMPED images, stickers, ribbon, paper sheets or scraps and any stationery or cards or anything I can use for pen pals, scrap book sheets or handmade greeting cards. I collect post cards and would like a state "map" and a "state capital" post from each state. Here is a list of the ones I already have. State Map post cards I DO have: AZ, AR, CA, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IA, KS, LA, MD, MA, MI,, NH, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA and WY. The State Capitals that I DO have are: CO, KS, LA, MA, MI, MO, NJ, RI, TX, VA, WA, and WI.
