About Me

I'm an empty nester who has gone back to grad school full time to study environmental geography. I'm hoping to do my thesis on weather related phenomena. I have 2 adults (adult children is an oxymoron don't you think?) 2 cats and 2 dogs. I adore them all. Art is all about the process for me, and helps me maintain my sanity!

Favorite Things

Basketball, purple, my dogs, my cats, zoos, coffee, challenges, school, maps, purple, texture, bright colors, cooking, eating, reading cookbooks, actually reading any books, nature, trees, flowers, photography, wordgames, sudoku. stuff.

Unfavorite Things

sushi, inappropriate cell phone use, non-use of turn signals, my neighbors to the north, traffic, noise, boring people, being cold, being to busy to play art!

Favorite Places

Alaska, St. Thomas, Yellowstone, Yosemite, the beach, the mountains, being outside, Italy (although I haven't been yet!) Spain (ditto) San Francisco (but I wouldn't want to live there), Montana.

Favorite Crafts

Anything goes in my world, although I seem to stick around mixed media atc's and collage the most. I also paint, do altered journals, and needle craft; embroidery and crochet, although I kinda suck at it.

Comment: I was warned this package would be a little late, but it was well worth waiting for! I LOVE the "Frog ATC" as well as the extra "Yarn ATC." Comment: Incredible ATC! The extra one is gorgous! Great quality. I can't believe the stupid postman sent it back, it was addressed perfectly. I'm going to contact the postoffice and complain.

so glad you liked the voodoo dotee!! i was in new orleans about 2 weeks ago and bought some of the goodies there. and once i had the idea in my head about the jar i just couldn't talk myself out of it!! it made it much more creepy fun! :)
