I'm autistic (Aspergers).

I am a 29 year old female.

By day I create custom cakes for a small bakery in Seattle. By night I am a jewelry maker/designer (and compulsive bead hoarder). I run my own business (an Etsy store) where I have had good luck selling my jewelry pieces.

I hope to eventually do something with my passion for writing and get published. I am constantly working on a novel or two, as well as short stories.

I have two cats. I am a cat lady and I love them dearly. Oliver is an orange tabby and Lilo is a big ol' round tortie.

I am new to this site, but have been a swapper in other venues for years. I love to create little bundles of postal goodness and send them out - I enjoy not only finding or making things that I hope my partner will love, but I love to find special ways to surprise them as well. I am so excited to have found this site and look forward to swapping with everyone! :)

Cake & frosting! I love working with edibles and finding new ways to do stuff with frosting. People come into my bakery and challenge me to do the oddest things, which I love. Here are some of my more recent creations:

I make a lot of jewelry - earrings, necklaces, big funky rings, bracelets, headbands and hair clips. I like to send handmade jewelry items to my partners - so make sure your profile says what you like in it. :)

I am a hardcore bead addict. I plan to run a handful of themed bead swaps, as well as handmade jewelry swaps. I've got to channel this beady energy somewhere. ;)

Other crafty stuff I am into: Card making, paper crafts, sewing, painting (water colors mostly) and drawing. I am interested in starting to collect/make ATCs and inchies.

Photography! I tote a digital SLR and take pictures of everything form families to rockstars.

Queen, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Flogging Molly, Lady Gaga... I like pretty much anything but rap. Mix or mp3 CDs of your local indie scene make me alive inside. I love to hear new artists!

Beads: beads are my all time biggest obsession. Any beads or jewelry making stuff would be welcomed. Glass, stone, pearl, crystal, vintage, some plastic, wood, or even old broken jewelry pieces.

Maneki neko/lucky cats: I love these. I love anything with a lucky kitty on it. Stickers, paper, figurines, jewelry, absolutely anything.

Kawaii: I am a new Kawaii fan, and would love any stickers, notes, etc.

Japanese stuff, vintage stuff.

Octopuses! My favorite animal :) I have a huge plush octopus collection.

Hawaiian/tropic/aloha stuff like hibiscus and palm trees. Anything beach related.

Anything with Egyptian flare.

Old skeleton keys, vintage magazines, clippings, ephemera, postcards, etc.

I love color, plaid, polka dots, weird stuff, girly stuff (like makeup and especially eye shadows or anything with glitter in it). I adore dinosaurs (veliciraptors are my favorite), candy, candles, mp3 collection CDs, books, magazine articles/clippings. Hair oddities like clips, feathers, etc. Funky earrings, cozy socks, warm scarves (that aren't wool - I have allergies).

Any sort of knickknacks, jewelry or decorations that say "Kiki" on them.

Twilight, True blood... there, I said it. I'm jumping on that bandwagon. ;)

Pirate stuff! Arr.

Handmade stuff I'd love to receive: ATCs, inchies, scarves, hats, jewelry, decorative items.

Postcards! Vintage, new, tourist-y. I'd love to start swapping PCs, so if you tossed some blank random ones in my envies, I'd love it!

I am not a fan of dollar store knickknacks, unless it is something very specific to me. I don't have a lot of use for them.

Cigarette smoke is something that I have a high sensitivity to. I have asthma and smoke smells have a very negative effect on me. If you're a smoker, please try to avoid the odor on things you send me. I'd greatly appreciate it!

If you send me wool-anything I will end up in the ER. :( So please don't. Bees also make me die. I'll pass on the live bee swaps, too. ;)

I run a business that requires me to ship items daily. I ship from home, printing my labels on the computer and handing packages to my mailman. I am very prompt with shipping - if you check out my Etsy store and feedback, you'll see I have a %100 rating. I will be very prompt with my swaps.

I send all in-the-US package swaps with tracking numbers.

I keep a close eye on the swaps I run and will do my best to protect participants form flakers.

I plan to host a handful of jewelry-making swaps, so I thought I'd add this section.

Metal allergies: None.

Colors: Anything, really. I am into jewel tones lately. Unique color combos (like pink, purple, yellow, or other interesting stuff). I like any metals but shiny gold, with silver and copper being my favorites.

Necklaces: I like 'em 16" or so. Nothing too chunky.

Bracelets: 7-ish inches.

Earrings: Big or small, just not too heavy. I can wear any type of hooks.

It would make my husbands day to have a little something thrown in a swap he'd like... he's into rock music, dragons, Asian-inspired dude stuff (lol), chocolate covered marshmallows. Candy. Sweets. Candy.
