I share my living space with 7 cats, 3 dogs and a husband. Makes for an interesting household at times.
I am a tactile person, love the feel of fabrics, yarns, stones, shells, etc! I love all colors, no favorites really.
Please let me know if I need to resend, I'll gladly do that! Send me a message if you have any concerns at all about a swap where I am your partner.
At the moment, I have a cowl almost on needles, a shawl on needles, pieces of a baby sweater ready to finish, beads organized and prepared for making a bracelet and am making hanger covers by hook... :D Haven't been doing much else crafty lately. I can knit, crochet, sew, quilt, counted cross-stitch, have made a scrapbook, beaded jewelry, collected a few rubber stamps and toyed with applique, tried tatting and card making. I need a dedicated work room!
I listen to many forms of music, with classical and golden oldies my most favorite & rap and country being my least favorite!
I love old movies, musicals, many Disney and foreign films. Turner Classic Movies is my favorite TV channel.
I don't read as much as I used to, but I like variety in my selections and will read most anything except westerns and extreme violence. I have been listening to books from the digital public library and LOVE being able to do that.
Collect crafting books and self-help books, plus books from places I've visited or want to visit.
I like milk chocolate, any candy from overseas, caramel, licorice, coffee (black, please no cream or sugar!), all types of teas, almonds, cheese, fruits/jams of all kinds, sweets (sigh, a baine in my life), and I am willing to try new flavors/tastes!
Postcards, especially about where you live, tourist-y ones of your area, city views, map cards (but already have plenty of California!). I prefer postcards stamped and sent 'naked', I think that makes them unique.
~please don't cover the description of the card that is usually on the upper left of the back of the card, I like reading those! And, I'm sorry but please don't put any stickers on them, I just don't care for that and I'm not even sure why! :(

Angry drivers.
Cashiers who talk on the phone when waiting on me. (grrr... this one really irks me)
Swap-botters who do not rate: Finally decided to revisit these and guess what?! everyone of them were no longer in the swap-bot system!
Swappers who do not send!: (10/16/2010) 2010 Postcard swap #10 - October - craftingmom
I so want to add another group of Swappers on this list, but since I do not walk in other's shoes, I can't really blather on about their nastiness. Sigh.. instead I will take a deep breath and thank my God for my blessings.

I LOVE Piers Anthony! I love the Xanth series (I so wish Xanth was a real place) and I love the Incarnations of Immortality series. So great to find another Anthony lover!
Hi Jacani,
Thanks so much for the postcard you sent for the Naked Postcards WTA tag! I appreciate your thinking of me with the butterfly. It's hilarious that your dog's name is Mimi too. I always get "cat" or "grandmother" so this is a nice change.
