Howdy! I am an easily amused 40 year old woman/child. I’m mature enough to accept myself for who I am flaws and all while remaining immature enough to still think farts are funny.
I have been married for five years to the perfect man for me. We live a very simple life, way out in the country. I love to say we live at the butt end of nowhere. We are owned by 9 diva horses, and 5 lazy dogs. (All outside dogs.)
I am the mother to two grown children. Hindsight is 20/20. Looking back now I realize I messed up when I raised my kids to be independent and have opinions of their own. They simply refuse to allow me to run their lives for them now!
I have the coolest 3 year old grandson in the world! He has way more attitude than body to hold it. I call him The Tink because he is always tinkering with something. He keeps me young by being a constant reminder to just laugh, have fun, and not worry about people watching you.
People often say “I’m having one of those days.” Well, I am having one of those lives! If it can happen, it will happen to me eventually. I have just learned to roll with it and enjoy life for what it is.

I am not good in uncomfortable situations. I tend to make jokes and not everyone gets them. I make me laugh though! (By the way, my husband is accident prone so we are always at the ER. I’m running out of good hospital jokes so if you have any please pass them on to me.)
I do not get offended easily. I simply do not have the energy it takes to be actively offended. I have a sense of humor and I use it. I love smart ass comments, sayings, quotes, and people. However, there is a line between snarky and hateful and I have no patience for hateful people.
I am very fickle about things. There are only two things I can definitely say I have a favorite; favorite color is orange and favorite drink is sweat tea. If you are sending to me please don’t feel constrained when you are deciding what to send. Send me something you like, it might be my next favorite thing.
I am really absent minded and easily side tracked. I am always excited to start big new things but seem to lose steam somewhere in the middle, then I have to force myself to finish them. My husband tells me all the time that I am just in love with the start.

My life is an open book. The only secrets I have are the ones I haven’t remembered. I try to live life with no regrets and I own my decisions for better or for worse.
I have no problem with constructive criticism. If I send you a handmade something and you have ideas that will improve it please feel free to pass them on.
I have to work very hard to be creative, because of that I really admire people that are naturally creative. I am a visual learner and generally need directions to get from point A to point B. I sometimes feel like I drive people crazy with questions when I am trying to learn something new. So far I have been very lucky that no one has told me to shut the hell up!

I love pretty much any kind of music. If it makes you want to get up and move then it is for me.

I would love to learn how to quilt. I'm not real good with taking measurements so everything I have ever tried to piece together comes out very crooked. :)

Crochet and Cross Stitch are about the only crafts that I am comfortable and confident doing. But, I have grown very bored with both.

I am a smoker. I am not proud of it but, I’m not ashamed of it either. I am doing my best to quit. Some days I have no problem with it and others are a bit harder. Hopefully one day soon I can take this part out of my profile.

I am putting this here to hold myself accountable. I smoked what is hopefully my last cigarette on 2/6/2012 at 7:00 pm. Let's see how this goes!

I can't say that I really have a favorite movie. When I like a movie I tend to watch it over and over until I just can't stand watching it anymore.
