When I first joined swap-bot I was brand new to swapping but I am having so much fun since I joined. I've learned new things while meeting new friends.

I will NEVER flake on a swap so please PM me before rating. I will do my best to correct or resend the swap.

I do reuse packaging and don't mind a bit if you do too =)

I've lived in Michigan my entire life. I'm single with no kids but I do have two cats Paris and Jamaica.

I've been an ultrasonographer for 20 + yrs.

I work so I can travel. I love to visit new places both here in the states and in other countries. For many years I traveled with my penpal from England. Now that she is married with kids I sometimes still travel with her but now we bring her whole family along.

I've been doing craft projects for as long as I can remember. If it was popular at the time I probably attempted it(macrame or hodge-podge anyone?)

Right now the main craft I'm involved in is circle and long loom knitting. I've mainly made hats and scarves but hope to move up to socks next.

Most of my hats I knit are donated to different charities that collect them for the homeless or for patients undergoing chemotherapy.

I'm a novice in regards to papercrafting. I have done a little origami so I hope to learn new things. Since joining Swap-Bot I've made my first ATCs and altered matchboxes.

I collect matchbooks but they are hard to find now with all the no smoking laws(I myself am a non-smoker).

I also collect golfballs. Not the plain white ones but the ones that you buy on vacation that have emblems on them like The Statue of Liberty. I keep them in a large glass fishbowl.

I've collected pressed pennies for a long time and the pressed penny swaps have allowed me to add many new ones to my collection =)

I think my largest collection is refrigerator magnets. I have ones from museum exhibits, funny ones and vacation ones.

Running second to magnets I love bags. I always buy those reusable bags most stores are selling now. I buy a lot of them on vacation. They make cheap souvenirs not just for myself but for family and friends.

I must admit though that the one item I always buy on vacation is a Christmas ornament. Each year as I hang them on the tree they remind me of the good times I had while on that vacation.

One of my favorite movies is "Shawshank Redemption". Everytime It's on TV it sucks me into watching it.

My favorite TV show is The Amazing Race. I've seen every episode. I like seeing the places that they travel to that I will never be able to visit.

I love Snoopy and Woodstock.

I really like the color Blue.... Pepto Bismal Pink not so much.

I don't like cherries but can eat them if I have too.

Black licorice keep it away from me I REALLY DISLIKE it or anything that tastes like it (anise, ouzo etc..)

I love earrings. I like the kind that dangle. I don't really wear the ones that are on posts or studs. I always try to buy a pair on vacation that represent that trip (Celtic from Scotland etc...)

I Love Love lipglosses. All types, colors etc.. I've never met a tube I didn't like.

I didn't realize until filling out this profile how much I must really like scarves (of all types) considering how many I have.

I like milk and dark chocolate (Cadbury Twirl - I Love You)

White chocolate I'll pass on (but my mom loves it)

Dislike loose confetti and glitter in envelopes because it just gets everywhere and a month later you are still finding it.

My hair is short so I really don't have any use for hair accessories.

I don't really need any ephemera. I don't dislike it I just have no use for it at this time.

I don't really care for coffee. I only drink it when it has flavored creamer or chocolate in it, but I do have a Tassimo machine so I can make it for guests.

That Mother Nature would take her meds and calm down!!!!!

Yarn - I have a stash but can always use more. Except 100% wool (unless it's Merino) because that just makes me itch itch itch. I hope to try to make socks so sock yarn is welcome. I'm really having fun making spa bags lately so cotton yarn would be welcome also.

If you are sending me socks I wear size 9 US. Surprise me with type and style =)
