I like dolls of all kinds, antique , vintage hard plastic dolls.of the 50s and 60s, vintage 'paper dolls. Like making and trading ATCs ATC Paper dolls. Art paper dolls, Button fairies and Dotee dolls. Like to paint and draw, do altered books, altered dolls and collage art . I Like vintage stuff and the colors teal, aqua, gold, yellow ,blue, olive green. Mixed pinks and black together love the cool fibers that are out, like to use them a lot on my stuff.. love face rubber stamps . paper doll rubber stamps . glass beads and silver charms. love collage artsy stuff. vintage images. I also collect vintage valentines. I love vintage lace and vintage doilies. I use them in my dollmaking.Love ribbons and peices of vintage jewelry to use with my dolls to.

I am a stay at home person spend a lot of time watching old movies and doing arts and crafts. I have fybromyalgia and Bipolar disorder and had to quit work 14 years ago. I have a degree in social services, minor in religion and have done volunteer work for NAMI which is the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Taught classes at the Local NAMI in coping with Mental Illness. Spoke to area organizations through a program called IN Our Own Voice which is an awareness program that educates people about mental illness. I facilitated an art group at NAMI., also took calls on the Warm line which was a line people could call in on when they wanted to talk about problems they were having with their mental illness. That did stop for awhile due to my own illness.. But I have made steps to get back into it. I do enjoy my time at home getting into my art. But I have truly missed the feeling I get when I feel I am making a difference. I am hoping I can continue to still stay fairly active in swaps and do volunteer work.

My view on rating 5s and giving hearts: I believe in rating fairly, To me I give a five if they meet swap requirements.(period) Remember the rules you don't even have to like it to give a 5. If a person does a beautiful job on something, paid attention to my profile and I see they put extra effort into it> or I just like it.... I give a heart. I like getting extras, but I rate on the item, not the extras. I send goodies sometimes just to be nice,but not to get hearts. I put forth a lot of effort into the things I make. Sometimes I'm short on the goodies, I'm on SSD I can't always afford, to do that. . I am not always good at writing little notes like a lot of people are, and you know I do appreciate the notes people send too.
