I'm a full-time writer that spends a ton of time in the studio knitting, quilting, crocheting, drawing, making miniatures and playing with sparkly things while trying to make sure my hound dogs don't eat it all. ;-)

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Texan, a Longhorn (I bleed burnt orange), a rodeo fan, a horror buff, and an avid container gardener. I have the travel bug, in a serious way, and am often gallivanting off for a few days to visit somewhere I've never been before (last year it was Rome and Malaga, this year it's Montreal). I have 18 tattoos, pink hair, share 3 dogs, 2 couches, and 9 computers with my life partners.

I've recently been released from a chronic pain disease thanks to holistic medicine and the best doctors ever. I am pain-free for the first time in 20 years, I've lost about 1/3 of my body weight in the last 13 months, and I will be running my first 5K race soon. Hopefully. grins

Knitting (entrelac is my favorite and I desperately want to learn to knit socks on two circulars), quilting (I love piecing tops), ATCs, crocheting, painting, miniatures (room boxes). Dotee dolls are my newest obsession.

turtles (I have a collection of about 300 of them!), bassett hounds, rainbows, yoga, goth anything, crows, ravens, Wizard of Oz, grunge, witches, tattoos, cowboys, old west, hand-painted yarn, coffee, pagan/goddess images, bright colors, pink! I love the weird and unusual. I love color.

Craft-wise I can always use ribbon and seed beads, embroidery thread and brads, ephemera.

I'm always on the look-out for shot glasses from parts of the world we don't have yet.

I am very into experiencing my own personal joy. Life is too short to be unhappy.

Nothing meant for little children, as I don't have any, nothing conservative religious/political... That's really about it. I'm easy.

Oh! I have a severe wheat allergy - as in I blister if it gets on my skin and ingesting it can lead to hospitalization, so please, no lotions, food-stuffs, makeup (it's in lipstick and mascara), even tea (tea bags can be sealed with wheat-based glue).
