I have completed over a hundred fifty swaps -woohoo! And that translates to the fact that I now have a huge collection of really cool ATC's!

My family consists of six grown kids - 2 daughters (both are creative swappers!) and 4 sons. All of them were home-schooled back in the 80's -90's. I was a happy stay at home mom. * I have four wonderful grandsons.* My husband lives in Illinois and I live in fabulous Las Vegas; we commute a lot (he works for the airlines) My life is a big adventure. Because of all the traveling we do, we have no pets.

When I finished up teaching my youngest son who is now 28 years old, I began teaching art at a private Christian school and stayed there for 11 wonderful years. I also taught art to homeschool groups prior to and during that time. I loved teaching art! and I really enjoy seeing other people's creative work....it's all good....a wonderful revelation of its creator. I especially enjoy looking at other people's photos! I love nature and take a lot of pictures of beautiful places and things I see when I travel. Before I became a mom I was hoping to become a professional artist...went to art schools in Chicago...and sketched and painted. My paintings are of lanscapes, still life, but portraits are my favorite. I work with pencils, pastel/charcoal pencils, ink, paint markers, acrylic, oil paint and even a little watercolor. I love making collages too! So now after the kids are all grown I am returning to my love of drawing and painting...and I am called an amateur artist....but look up the definition of "amateur" and I happily accept the title.

I can never answer the "what's your favorite color?" question because I love colors of every variety. I am one of those people who likes to have the 94 pack of crayons to select from. Top choices are orange, followed by lime green.

I don't watch much TV but I do have several shows that I have to watch; House, Fringe, CSI (Vegas & Miami), Lost and Heroes.

I have collections of a variety of things; California pottery - mostly candy dishes: tigers; tea pots: antique books; art books: wind chimes; frogs; and now ATC's. I like to get one playing card with a different design on the back- a few people have included them in with their ATC's.
