About Me

On Sunday 24 January 2010 my first grandchild was born. Her name is Marlene. Wow, she will be two tomorrow.Can't believe it and a little sister is on the way too.

I got married for the second time on November 13th 2009(civil) and 14th(church). You can have a look at the pictures on my blog or my Flickr page.

I always send my swaps. Sometimes a bit late but I then contact the person I have to send to. In case you dont get your swap, please contact me, I will resend as soon as possible.

Hello from Germany. I am 60, married to the nicest man on Earth. We both don't smoke so our home is smoke-free(for those who are allergic) but we have a dog. I was a teacher but am retired. I have two adult kids and a dog.

I love to collect small items like buttons, paper napkins, stickers and Ty beanie babies. I love drinking black tea (Pg tips) , cappucino, and Scotch whisky (not too often though).

I like chocolates (no dark chocolate), I am a fan of "Cadburys Roses". I also like starburst from GB.

I don't like cinamon or vanilla.

My favorite color is red and as flowers I like roses and lilac and hydrangeas.

We love to travel although it is a problem due to my bad health. But I love Sweden and England, Scotland and Wales a lot. Never been to Ireland but I hope that some day...

Favorite Music

I love soul, blues and many "0ldies". Prefer dark women's voices.(Alyson Moyet, Kim Carnes, Anni Lennox etc)

Postcards

I like most kinds of postcards, but would like to get them naked ( not in an envelope) and written on.

Other than regular stamps make me very happy.

I love art cards esp. of not so well-known artists, young artists etc.

I also like cards showing people (children) - traditional clothing - places of special interest - animals especially owls, cats and dogs.

Hey, ich hab gerade deine Postcards for trade Seite gesehen und ich finde die Nils-Holgerson-Karte ganz toll, weil ich das als Kind geliebt habe! Das Buch wurde uns immer zum Einschlafen vorgelesen. Vielleicht können wir einen private swap machen? Eventuell hast du ja einen besonderen Postkartenwunsch, den ich erfüllen könnte? :) Ich würde mich freuen!
