Favorite Crafts

I always say that I inherited my moms crafty gene. I LOVE to knit! I have been knitting for over a year and am totally addicted! I also love to quilt, scrapbook, make beaded jewelry and have just started making these really cute picture frames. Like I said, I have the crafty gene! heehee

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of a 6 year old girl and a 2 1/2 year old boy who is autistic. I have been married for almost 8 years to DH Greg. My favorite colors are any shade of red, greens, browns, really any rich warm color. Just like my favorite colors, I love warm smelling candles. I love sugar vanilla. I don't like anything floral smelling. I sing in the church choir, but have sung in the cities Symphony Orchastra.

Favorite Music

Since I am a singer, I love musicals. I love broadway musicals. I also love Lea Selonga and Kristen Chinoweth.

And don't laugh, but I also love Bon Jovi. I know, I know...How did I get from broadway musicals to Bon Jovi? Don't ask!

Favorite Books

Right now I am reading alot of books on Autism since one of my kids has it. I also LOVE cookbooks! My favorite cookbooks are from Ms. Paula Deen. She is so funny! I just love her! I just recently got the new Trisha Yearwood cookbook. It's great! I am on Weight Watchers so their cookbook are ALWAYS in my kitchen!

Favorite Movies

I love all kinds of movies. My least favorite is horror movies. I'm just not into that stuff. Everything else I love. It can be adventure, romance, comedy or mystery. There just isn't anything better then curling up in my favorite PJs and blanket on the couch watching a flick.

Favorite Television

My favorite TV shows are CSI Miami, Charmed, American Idol (I know, I'm a dork! lol), Ghost Whisper and Numbers. Really Numbers, Ghost Whisper and CSI Miami are my favorites. I don't miss an episode!

My House

My house is all done in warm, rich colors. I love the vineyard look. I have wine bottles and grapes all in my kitchen. I love the Italian feel. I also have little chefs too. There is just something about a short, fat man with a tray of food! lol

Dislikes

I don't like any floral smelling things. I am a Christian so I don't like wiccan or pagon things.

Obsessions

-chocolate!!!!! -sewing -chocolate!!!!! -Diet Coke -did I mention CHOCOLATE heehee I am totally obsessed with knitting. I swear I always have a pair of knitting needles in my hands. (If you see any typos it's because of the needles HAHA!) If you swap with me, anything to do with knitting would be awesome!

Likes for my Kids

My 6 year old little girl LOVES Hannah Montana! She even looks like her! (no kidding!) She also likes Littlest Pet Shop and Make-up.
My 2 year old son LOVES Thomas the Engine. He is autistic so things that roll are great too. He loves cars also.

Comment: Hi! This is Dustin (Amanda's husband). I just got my snacks tonight when we got home from being out of town for a few days. They were waiting for me at the door and I was very excited to see a box waiting for me. The package's at the door are always for Amanda, not me. The snacks are very good.
