Call me what thou will but mainly I go by Becca/Bee/Birdie/ or if I've been especially naughty you can give me the full Rebecca :s I am in my 25th year and I reside in a small cesspool of a town in Yorkshire, UK where it is forever grey and akin to living inside tupperware. However, I remain annoyingly optimistic and cheery most days and on the other days I listen to The Smiths and swear a lot. I'm a bleeding heart liberal and don't care who knows it! I like hugging trees and people and will often do so even if they don't ask. I'm a comic book collecting, star trek watching super geek who is running out of books to read. I think Tim Burton is a Genius and Joss Whedon a god-like mastermind. Some days I'm quite gothic and dark the next I can be all rainbows and love songs. Apparently I'm "two-thirds Tinkerbell, One third Wednesday Adams" completely away with the fairies with a dark side.

I have a joint BA Hons degree in English Literature and Journalism so I read ALOT and very fast, mainly novels and newspapers and Shakespeare was my main study focus. I'm not into chick lit shudders My favourite book is Perks of Being a Walllflower. Some of my other faves include: Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Nights at the Circus, The Chronicles of Narnia, Time Travellers Wife, The Book of Lost Things, Secret Garden, Wuthering Heights, Jayne Eyre, Northanger Abbey, Interview with the Vampire, The Red Tent, Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, Catcher in the Rye, Angela's Ashes.....and Twilight Saga (don't tell me professors :s) I read a hell of a lot of poetry I have a book shelf entirely for poetry books, Ted Hughes, Philip Larkin, Anne Sexton, any from the Beat Generation. I could go on, but I wont :p

Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse, Wizard of Oz, Anything Tim Burton, La Vie En Rose, Donnie Darko, The Company of Wolves, Breakfast Club, Little Mermaid, Saw, Pans Labyrinth, El espinazo del diablo, Notebook, Grease, but mainly anything remotely scary! Horror FTW! V for Vendetta, I also like a lot of old movies: Boris Karloff/Vincent Price style monster movies etc and last but not least Amelie....I actually own a French Mobylette Moped like the one in the movie!!!

Buffy - I am a die hard Buffy fan!! Angel, Dr Horribles sing along blog, Firefly, Dollhouse - basically anything Joss Whedon has been in 3ft of!!! Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Doctor Who, Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, Greek, IT Crowd, My So-Called Life, Star Trek, Tin Man, Ally McBeal, South Park, Gilmore Girls, Heroes, Xfiles....My fave atm is Bones!!!

Really into crochet atm so if you have any spare remnants of chunky yarn for me to practice with that you can send my way to add to my growing stash I'd be forever grateful :) If you can make Ami's I'd love to trade for one just to see how they're done.
