It's been about one year since I last logged in. There had been a lot going on.  Not to say that everything is perfect now, but I'm planning on sending out my previous swaps as soon as possible.  So for my partners missing swaps, tags and ratings, a million apologies!  And don't hesitate to nag me about them...

Recently, one of my 1 ratings has been changed to a 3.  Yes, a seemingly small victory, but for me it's huge!  I so appreciate and love the swapping community and it's members!  

(Despite numerous efforts to save my explanation of my other bad ratings, I'm not able to. Please ask me, and I'll inform you about them.)

Hey! Thanks for viewing my profile! My name's Joy. I currently reside in Rutland, Vermont. But I've lived in Massachusetts most of my life. All around Boston, the suburbs were home to me. Mainly Lexington but also the seaport towns of Gloucester and Beverly. As well as more inland places such as Winchester and Woburn. But my favorite city that I've called my own is San Jose, California. I was there when I was 17 and had my 18th birthday. I moved out there to work. I tutored the younger students at an elementary school.

I just had my 31st birthday though. It was this past October!  It's gonna be a good year!  Since my bday is at the end of the month, it makes me a Scorpio.  In fact, I have at least 3 planets in Scorpio which means that I'm a Scorpio Stellum. But even cooler than just that, I have three in Sagittarius also!  Even though when it boils down to it, I consider myself Christian (kind, generous, loving, etc.), I'm way into New Age as well! Astrology, Tarot, Psychic readings are all fascinating to me!  

Another aspect of my life that I'm enthralled with is my creativity.  Please do check out my art link! Maybe you'd like to swap for a drawing?  Give me your color preferences, and the rest will be history!  Well, actually maybe evolutionary?! Abstract art is kind of on the brink of new artwork, wouldn't ya say?! ;) 

My pen friends and swap buddies are very important to me!  I don't know where I'd be without them all!  Probably uncommunicative and depressed somewhere, eek! But thank goodness this is not the case!  I've been pen palling for years!  My bestie at the time moved to another state when I was 8, so I wrote to her to try to salvage our friendship. But, some people aren't cut out for letter writing I suppose. Didn't get much of a direct response, but fell in love with correspondence! Another pallie introduced me to swapping via friendship booklets and little gifts. It's a full fledged must have in my life now, progressing to label bags, used stamp bags, goodie bags, etc. and parcel mailing kawaii goodness a lot!

As well as making my day spectacular by getting in the mail any of the things listed here, I can swap them from my side too!  But I would really like another matchbox! They're so cute!  I'd print out the template, but I don't currently have a functioning pc with Internet access.  Instead, yay! I'm able to log in on an iPhone and new iPad!! ;)
